His demeanor is calm, caring and understanding, all qualities that are often rare to find in doctors. He is accepting of his patients and took as much time as I needed to review my condition and need for surgery. He was reassuring to me when I expressed anxiety about surgery and explained in depth how it would go that day. I cannot express how grateful I am to find such a wonderful doctor, who is surrounded by competent and pleasant staff. I was able to schedule an appointment quickly and I was called back right away. They scheduled a followup appointment for me. It was today at 11:00. I work over an hour away. I drove all the way out there to be told the doctor wasn't in and my appointment was at 2:00 pm. I had the appointment card with me. It was for 11:00 am. No notification, no nothing. Just a complete waste of my time, twice! So unprofessional. Dr. Tanenbaum is wonderful. Rarely do you get a doctor that will take the time to talk to you and really try to understand what is causing your problems. Most just want to prescribe you something and send you on your way, at least in my experience. Dr. Tanenbaum actually cares and wants to make sure you get better, scheduling follow-ups as needed until your problem is resolved. He also took the time to make sure all my questions were answered. I'm so grateful to have found him - more doctors should be as thorough as Dr. Tanenbaum!

Tina was the optician who helped me. She was more than competent, and very personable. She made sure that my glasses fit my face to my liking, and were also comfortable. She asked me repeatedly if they felt okay, was very concerned, and interactive throughout the entire process. I will definitely be back to see Tina, and look forward to meeting the rest of the staff when I need an updated eye exam.
