Eric was amazing! So nice and literally gave us so many free samples, it wasn't just one little piece of popcorn either, the samples are like a handful big ! They have so many amazing flavors. For a first time I loved it and can't wait to order some! He gave us all good suggestions and told us how his wife makes the outrageous flavors. The salt and vinegar is so good. Doesn't taste like your average salt and vinegar. It's not acidic either. I loved it. Jalapeño cheddar was good, tried the kettle corn, OMG the root beer float one, too die for! Great stop for popcorn but plan to spend a little bit of time trying to decide what flavors to settle on, there are so many options here. We finally landed on just going with the confetti bag which had a good mix of all the flavors. They also serve Chocolate Shoppe Ice Cream here, which I think is the best ice cream company on the planet. Their ice cream is so good. Since you are in Wisconsin, of course you will be able to find Blue Moon ice cream here. Win/win. Definitely worth a stop after a good game of mini golf around the corner. Every flavor I/we tasted was good. Even flavors I believed I wouldn't have liked. We ended up purchasing 4 flavors (dill pickle, frosted birthday cake, mango chili lime, & the four horsemen). Prices vary by size from $3.99-$24.99+. Another great thing about this place is they can ship you popcorn anywhere in the world. I'm a huge popcorn lover and the popcorn here is so fresh. This place is a must stop every time my family comes to visit us in the Dells. Lots of popcorn varieties, including family favorites bacon cheddar, confetti, caramel, and double cheddar. They also have lots of chocolates, candy and ice cream. Something for everyone in your group. The store is a staple in the Dells. Make sure you get some of the fudge it is light and fluffy and melts in your mouth. The cashew crunch is soooo buttery and also melts in your mouth if you are patient. I am not so patient so I have the honor of picking it out of my teeth! My kids loved the chocolate dipped oreos and pretzels! They will let you mix flavors of popcorn so you have a custom bag. I saw spicy, savory, sweet and salty. Kettle corn, popcorn, banana chocolate, peanut butter with chocolate drizzle, the classic caramel corn and the ever favorite salted caramel! Carmel Apple mix! Ghost pepper and soo many more I cant even name them all. There is an extensive selection of taffy and hard rock candies as well. They are kind and generous, happy to make accommodations. I was shocked to see diabetic friendly chocolates as well. They literally have something for everyone. I also found out that they even mail out their goodies and accept custom orders. I found them at a festival over the weekend and bought a bag each of dill pickle (this brand is my favorite of all the pickle flavors I've tried), Snickers (which I bought for my husband but ended up addicted to it and ate 3/4 the bag myself - oops sorry honey lol), and cheddar pepper popcorn...I would HIGHLY recommend anything from the Kernels popcorn. Everything was very fresh and flavorful, and the flavor ideas they come up with are so enticing. I haven't visited their actual store location yet, but looking on their website I couldn't believe the variety of flavors they offer. The popcorn itself is just as amazing as the man who checked us out. I was surprised by how much fudge i could get for 5 bucks and how tasty it was! Thanks to Yelp and my Yelp friend, Jason I, we had this place bookmarked to try. What a find! Within seconds of entering the door, J and I were greeted by Eric, the owner who had a scoop in his hand of the double Wisconsin cheese flavored popcorn ready to put into our hands. Very good! J asked if the die hard Chicagoan Garrett's fan liked and Eric said a lot of them have crossed over which I can believe. Perhaps a man vs food episode with Adam Richman eating a ginormous pop corn ball and someone eating a Garrett's one could be on the horizon. Seriously, it would be a tight race! Eric is so gracious and so enjoyable to talk to! We told him about Yelp and promised to spread the word which we will gladly do. Popcorn is fresh, flavorful and the choices are many! We had a hard time deciding, but finally ended up with the Baked Potato and Root Beer Float which tastes like an actual float. It was a toss up between the double cheddar and the Chili Cheese Gunpowder Extreme Tons of options. Store is clean. Eric and his son are so personable and run an excellent family business! They ship all over. The farthest so far to Afghanistan for some of the troops!. Love this place! AMAZING place!! This was my first time visiting WI, and needed a snack while cruising the Dells. I was amazed by all the different and unique flavors of popcorn, chocolate, AND ice cream. Nicest owner I've met, he let me and my cousins try whatever flavor we wanted. We settled on two half-and-half bags. Cousin got salt n vinegar mixed with chili mango lime. I got tuxedo (chocolate drizzled popcorn) mixed with white cheddar. I can honestly say that the popcorn made with real Wisconsin white cheddar was the best I have had in my entire life. On a recent friends and family Dells vacation, we stumbled upon this popcorn shop after a round of mini golf. Eric, one of the owners, greeted us and gave us a quick history on the shop and then invited us to try several of the popcorn flavors that his wife, Patty, had created. He was so happy to share samples and tell stories of how the flavor combinations came to be that we were being entertained as much as we were enjoying the popcorn. Some of the absolute favorites were the Mango Chili Lime, Dill Pickle, Double Cheddar (classic) and the Four Horseman of the Apocolypse (spicy). The two are quite an impressive duo. My experience sounds a lot like Julie G's. Happened inside before a game of mini-golf, and Eric won us over with his friendly personality and offers of samples. Before we knew it, we walked out with a bag of taffy and 3 different bags of popcorn! Seriously, this stuff is good!! The store is the "factory" (is it in the back?), and everything is available to taste before purchase. You can also order for delivery (which I will have to do once this spicy chili popcorn is gone). Came back to the Dells with the family this year and made sure to stop in and check out the new flavors. My new favorite flavor is the Mango Chili Lime. The owner is still as sweet as they come and encourages anyone who enters his shop to try every single flavor if their hearts so please to. If you visit and the owner isn't around, one of the boys working the counter tends to be a bit stingy with the sampling. I don't really understand why he behaved the way he did when we were attempting to decide which flavors we wanted to bring back with us to NJ. We did purchase some large bags of popcorn that we had sampled previously (when the owner was around) but ended up giving up on attempting to have some little bags made as souvenirs because the young man just didn't seem to want to be bothered with us. He could have gotten a larger sale out of us if he had been willing to have all of us sample the flavors rather than just a few of us. We were a party of 5 and anytime we asked to taste a flavor he would only give us 3 popcorn pieces to sample. So my mom ended up giving up and walking away to Scoopy's in order to get some ice cream. I just ended up ordering the flavors I know I enjoy for myself and decided to not bother with attempting to get any snack bags of popcorn as souvenirs. He didn't seem to be in the mood to help like he was when the owner was in the shop. So if you end up visiting the shop and the owner isn't around and you experience this attitude of not being interested in your business by one of the young men behind the counter, please ask when the owner will be in the shop and come back then. First found this treasure 4 years ago while on a getaway with my husband. From the moment we walked in we were amazed as to all of the different flavors of popcorn!!!! On top of that Eric, who is the owner of this wonderful establishment insisted that we sample as many flavors as we wanted. After sampling many different flavors we bought 3 tins (2 for ourselves and 1 for a friend who's a bit of a popcorn snob). Our friends were just as amazed as to the quality and flavors of the popcorn and now are customers as well. We have ordered over the phone and online ever since. Even more amazing is that we just went there again today, first time back in person in about 2 years and Eric came from around the counter to greet us with open arms asking where and how we have been!!! We talked about our families and got another 2 tins of popcorn. Not just great popcorn, but, a great man who really has an amazing memory and genuinely appreciates his customers.
