I inquired about my survey a couple weeks before the scheduled closing. Three days prior, I was…read moreprovided one from the original build 2014/15 and was told if I wanted an updated one it would effect our closing date which of course I didn't want to do to all parties involved. I was told they would assist me in lining up a survey separately afterwards and I'd just have to pay out of pocket for that separately. I said yes please. I also followed up by email approximately one week later and did not receive a response. This assist never happened. I'm still confused why 1) since I'm the buyer I wasn't simply asked if I wanted one added to "my cost" for a fence etc and 2) with one neighboring home being completed the same year 15' and the other a year later 16,; a very large shed and fence up against the back lot and a significant amount of green life between the properties; why one was not required to begin with. All other processes seemed smooth.
