After about 30 minutes, my wife--who is always cold--started sweating and needed to step outside to cool down. She spoke with a very pleasant and professional young gentleman who immediately apologized and said he believed the A/C was having issues. My wife asked if we could come back later, and he said we could receive vouchers but would need to leave the theater. When she told me that, I decided we should take him up on the offer. Once we stepped out, we were told we had to wait in line at the concession stand for the vouchers. After waiting about 10 minutes, I asked to speak with a manager. Five minutes later, someone stepped out of the office. Before she even said a word, her body language made it clear she was annoyed. She never introduced herself--I had to ask her name. Rachel. What I cannot understand is why she chose the approach she did. She immediately insisted the A/C was working fine, yet later admitted there were cooling issues in the lobby. More importantly, she had not even bothered to walk in to the theater we were sitting in before deciding we were wrong. Things break. I get that. What I don't get is the attitude. The young employee handled the situation with professionalism and courtesy. Rachel did not. She came across as snarky, dismissive, and irritated that we were even raising the issue. When she finally provided the vouchers, it felt like she believed she was doing us a favor rather than addressing a legitimate customer concern. We had PAID for our movie and I am sure it doesn't come out of her check. Birthday movie and dinner with my wife is priceless. I have spent my entire life in customer service, and one thing I have learned is that customers are a gift, not an entitlement. We will simply vote with our wallets and not return to this location. Service was awesome! It was easy to order food, and had a server checking in with us respectfully during a movie. The alcohol dominates the menu, I don't drink so it was off putting to me. The theater is clean! The seats are worn out, my seat had the leather cracking. Not the biggest deal, but the small details matter; the more pressing issue is having a cup holder in between each seat. It makes sense when it's moving into the next section of paired seats, but it felt cramped & stiff unless I wasn't pulling up hard enough. All in all I'd recommend this spot! Dinner & a movie, big portions of food, and excellent customer service. It doesn't get any better unless it does!

The seats are older here and not super comfortable, but I'm willing to deal because they play arthouse movies I can't see anywhere else. Parking was rough- the parking lot is tiny and requires validation I think (there was a sign on the door), but if you drive around there is some street parking that has a 3 hour limit. I prefer the location closer to me (there are so many in Denver!) but don't mind stopping in if they are playing something I have to see.

It is an Australian film from the 1980's on their large main screen about a aging drag queen going to Alice Springs from Sydney for a gig. The screen and sound system could handle the visual image with excellent sound. Last week, I saw "Moonlight" about gay black culture in Miami. The movie won the 2016 Academy Award for best picture. It was shown in one of the two upper screens. No issues. The floors were clean.
