    Pizza with a movie
    Tammy S.

My husband and I went here to see a movie that wasn't playing in our neighborhood theater. We were greeted by friendly staff and a fun atmosphere inside. We sat down and ordered pizza a drink and popcorn. The server was great. I enjoyed how the previews were connected to the movie we were seeing and of course there were trailers for upcoming movies. The seats were comedians the theater was clean. It's a little odd with the movie started already how loud they are when they take orders but it wasn't too disruptive for long. We look forward to returning.

I always have a great experience here. Yesterday was no exception. My kids and I came to see How to Train Your Dragon. I like to get there 30 minutes before the show. That is when customers are let into the theater for their show. The service is always great! I prefer Alamo over other theaters because it is not all commercials running up to the start of the movie. What is showing is a compilation of related material for the show you are about to see. In this case it was all dragon related reels from movies and TV shows of the past. The fun part of having adult children is we all ordered a cocktail to go with our dinner. I had a house margarita. My daughter chose the Red Cape Margarita, a special in conjunction with the release of the Superman movie. It had blanco tequila, orange liqueur, Monin strawberry purée, and lime. My son got The Grasshopper, a shake with Arrow crème de menthe & crème de cacao. We all enjoyed our beverages. To eat, I had a pepperoni pizza with a side of ranch. My daughter chose the margarita pizza and my son had the pulled pork sandwich. We also shared a bowl of their buttered popcorn. It was a fun evening.

I absolutely love this theatre. Food & movie? Yes please! Perfect for date night away from our baby. But we just found out they also offer Baby days to take your LO with you! So cute. My fav fav fav thing is the Truffle Parm popcorn! I neeeeed the recipe. I miss when it used to have Free Refills. But they've added a bunch of other recipes which would be cool to try. I was hesitant to try a salad from a movie theater (I know) but it was surprisingly very good! We've tried a bunch of other things on the menu over the years, but our go-to is always the chicken tenders. Chicken tenders with fries, popcorn, and coca-cola. Done!

First. And last time here. Lost 3 full stars because they force us to be here 30 minutes early then also force us to watch the most annoying musical styled old timey cartoons from the 30's and a tap dance routine of a person in a sheep outfit.

Update: NEW MENU ITEMS New sauces and dry rubs for wings and tenders added. Gochujang Orange Chicken tenders- zesty, tender and flavorful. Comes with a side of sauce and side of ranch as well as fries. Some of the best chicken tenders I've ever had. I was very pleasantly surprised. Dill Pickle Buttered Popcorn-be careful with this new flavor, it's tasty but the seasoning can linger in your nose and make you sneeze. Salty and vinegary, this was a well-done pickle flavoring. Key Lime Pie Jar- this pie crust at the bottom of the jar was the best part. The custard had a nice texture and was very tart, but the lime needed to be punchier. Not too shabby, it was decent. "Josephine Baker" cocktail at Pandora's Box Bar- A Prosecco and banana flavored crafted cocktail inspired by vaudeville actress Josephine Baker. She was also a spy during WW2 and a political advocate. A tasty drink with a soft, subtle banana flavor. It was very pleasant to sip on whilst waiting for my showing.

Architecture in the pre-show for "The Brutalist".

I was actually quite surprised that there were only a few people using their phones for short periods of time here. The seats were comfortable and seemed clean and the woman that helped us out at the snack place was nice and efficient. I do wish that more movie theaters would take on the Alamo business model by monitoring people talking and using their phones during the movies and issue a warning first then kick them out. It would make coming to the movie theaters a once every two months or once a quarter event as opposed to once every few years.

They asked us what drinks we wanted when we got there because the mobile ordering system apparently tells them the sizes but not the actual drinks we ordered?!? It would have taken less time if we just ordered when we got there. The food and drink was just basic movie theater fare. Nothing fancy. The movie theater was good. The seats recline to almost flat. This is the place to suggest if you are being dragged to a movie you don't want to see. You can totally take a nap! Lol. Someone was having a medical emergency in the exit hallway when we tried to leave after the movie and, at first, we thought we were trapped. But the exit doors by the screen go to the parking lot and don't set off an alarm. All in all decent movie theater. But I prefer Alamo.

After about 30 minutes, my wife--who is always cold--started sweating and needed to step outside to cool down. She spoke with a very pleasant and professional young gentleman who immediately apologized and said he believed the A/C was having issues. My wife asked if we could come back later, and he said we could receive vouchers but would need to leave the theater. When she told me that, I decided we should take him up on the offer. Once we stepped out, we were told we had to wait in line at the concession stand for the vouchers. After waiting about 10 minutes, I asked to speak with a manager. Five minutes later, someone stepped out of the office. Before she even said a word, her body language made it clear she was annoyed. She never introduced herself--I had to ask her name. Rachel. What I cannot understand is why she chose the approach she did. She immediately insisted the A/C was working fine, yet later admitted there were cooling issues in the lobby. More importantly, she had not even bothered to walk in to the theater we were sitting in before deciding we were wrong. Things break. I get that. What I don't get is the attitude. The young employee handled the situation with professionalism and courtesy. Rachel did not. She came across as snarky, dismissive, and irritated that we were even raising the issue. When she finally provided the vouchers, it felt like she believed she was doing us a favor rather than addressing a legitimate customer concern. We had PAID for our movie and I am sure it doesn't come out of her check. Birthday movie and dinner with my wife is priceless. I have spent my entire life in customer service, and one thing I have learned is that customers are a gift, not an entitlement. We will simply vote with our wallets and not return to this location. I am disappointed not because the theater was warm, but because of how we were treated when we brought it to someone's attention.

I'd definitely make the drive back for another special event. Customer Service & Security: The staff was great! Quick, organized, and super nice. Food & Price: Everything for this event was free, including a cool exclusive poster on the way out. We also tried the caramel Gourmet Popcorn. It was delicious and the portion (looked like a small/medium bucket) was plenty for two of us to share with leftovers. Atmosphere: The vibe was awesome. Lots of fans in Mando and Grogu shirts, people with lightsabers and masks. Oh and even a little Grogu doll. It was a fun crowd to be around. Seating (IMAX): These aren't reclining loungers, but the chairs are spacious and rock back and forth. They were still very comfortable for the screening. Overall: Great experience. That excitement hit another level once tickets went on sale--she fully came out! This movie took a different turn than the previous ones, which I actually appreciated. While the dinosaur action was fun to watch--and let's be real, that's why we're here--it still only made the grade of a solid C overall. Also, I really wish they had offered it in 4DX/IMAX. I then spoke with the manager, who said no to both requests because of policy. While I was disappointed, I accepted that those were the rules and didn't argue. What was completely unacceptable was how I was treated afterward. I was already upset with myself for forgetting my medication and my voice was shaking and on the verge of tears as I tried to explain the situation. Instead of showing even a little compassion, the manager accused me of trying to sneak alcohol into the theater and told me that forgetting my medication was my own personal failing. Rather than helping or simply enforcing the policy professionally, she chose to lecture and belittle me while I was already distressed. I understand that businesses have policies, but there's no excuse for treating customers with such a lack of empathy and basic respect. If kindness and professionalism matter to you, don't go to this theater.

Service was awesome! It was easy to order food, and had a server checking in with us respectfully during a movie. I think that's a hard thing to do, you've really got to know when to check in; kudos to them. Food is great portion wise! It would be great to separate alcohol & food menus. The alcohol dominates the menu, I don't drink so it was off putting to me. The theater is clean! The seats are worn out, my seat had the leather cracking. Not the biggest deal, but the small details matter; the more pressing issue is having a cup holder in between each seat. It makes sense when it's moving into the next section of paired seats, but it felt cramped & stiff unless I wasn't pulling up hard enough. All in all I'd recommend this spot!
