I received a phone call on Monday to make an appointment, that appointment was today. When I was called into the back I was not met with even a hello rather pointed to a chair and asked "what are you here for". I explained that I was here from the Providence VA and met with an "oh", the dental tech then left the room, every staff member that walked by the room look in it with a dirty look. When I explained to the dental tech that I had just had a tooth pulled the day before and asked to be gentle with the xray film I was told that the xrays "needed to be done". I have very bad TMJ and jaw shifting but wasn't able to explain that to her before the film was where my tooth was extracted, making me gag. I then asked for a pano so they could get the needed pictures and that was even an issue. I am 5'11 and 250 lbs and have had many panos done so I know that 1. the machine is adjustable and 2. i fit. without adjusting the machine from its low position I tried to bite the bite stick but again very bad jaw shifting due to TMJ while crouching and trying to bite the stick I could not move my head against the machine and into the correct position without losing the bite stick. The pano never happened and I could not leave fast enough and didnt even see the doctor. The staff is completely unprofessional and made me feel like I was wasting their time! I will never go back to them again and we be telling the VA about how incredibly rude they are as to not have another veteran treated this way.

Fine, I except that.. except they should let you know of this policy. Front desk people are not updating files for each kid so I missed an appointment cuz my phone number is wrong. (I didn't remember making this app) Then they charge you for the first appointment missed.. $50 to set another appointment up with them. My daughter was happy not to see him again anyway. She said he's rough and doesn't like him. Good riddance to this office who's ALWAYS EMPTY!!!

Today August 23 2022 1:00 as I was eating fried shrimp and tater tots for lunch I noticed something lumpy in my mouth. It was one of the teeth, 2 nd from the front. Now the denture is razor like. I called a repair place in Pawtucket and they said drop it off and pick it up tomorrow. So I called Aspen and she said come in at 4:00. Got there, signed in,barley sat and was called to sit in the operating chair. She took the denture and tooth. Came back 10 minutes later with it all fixed said it was still in warranty till 2027 and sent me on my way. Had to update my accounting for this place. I still think their original people that make you sign you first child away for dental work is off the wall and I would never have a tooth pulled from this horror house, but cleaning and their lab is superior to none.

The entire staff at McManus and Pratt are wonderful--organized, helpful, and friendly. They always run on time, are efficient, and call AND email to remind patients of appointments. Love love love. What the???…read more Seven thirty this morning, my fingers crossed- I did what I've been meaning to do for four years - change my dentist. Inertia is a weird thing. WHAT A FABULOUS EXPERIENCE! I've lived in 5 states and been to many dentists. I've kids, I've spent time in museum quiet, semi-circle-seating-type waiting rooms. Imagine my shock walking into a spacious sunlit room, chatter and laughing in the waiting room, in the office, just this hub-bub of happy people. (It gets better) I have the privilege of Dr. Chang taking me on extremely short notice. An amazingly gentle and knowledgable doctor who had me at ease from hello. His dental assistant Diane was excellent. I usually despise the 'down' time looking at a poster of a fuzzy animal on the ceiling tile. HAH, this office blew that away! My view? Large gorgeous skylight, tiny tree branch with an orange leaf, a hawk circling a thermal vent, a flock of extremely fast birds, and the drill whirled on! (seriously) Pleasant and personable is what comes to mind but it's not quite it. It's something More... the front office worked so hard to help me determine insurance coverage. Pulling out my car keys, I realized I was smiling. I looked up and caught the eye of a patient leaving, we both grinned and she beeped :-) Oh, my tooth, fixed. Simply wonderful. After a few…read moreyears of going, I had a tooth that chipped and the dentist told me "it's just a small chip, I can't do anything about it". That rubbed me the wrong way. I worked with someone who works for another dentist who advised me to go in after a tooth broke and I couldn't be happier. He not only told me that small chip was fixable. But that he could also do better bridgework than what was currently on my teeth. Another reason for 1 star rating. They told my parents (who were customers for over 30 years) they would no longer perform any dental work unless everything was paid in full upfront. After telling my mom she needed over $2000, of root canals that she could not afford he down played the problems in her mouth. "Oh don't worry, that is flat, it'll hold up for quite some time" after she was in pain for a week she called my new dentist who offered to see her on a holiday weekend! And he did the root canals she needed and is allowing her to make payments. When you're in your mid 60's it's very important you get the dental attention you need to support your health. After having another dentist tell me they could do better work (and have done better work) I don't see why anyone would go here.

Got the crown and my tooth was shaved to low and hit the nerve. I then had to get a root canal. The root canal now went through my brand new crown. Multiple issues with the tooth after the root canal. The crown then cracked and I had to pay to fix the crown. Went to a new dentist who removed the crown since it cracked again and the new dentist said the tooth was shaved down to far and they couldn't adhere a new tooth. Now I have no tooth. I highly wouldn't recommend!!!!!

He removed fillings to replace them and performed the root canals. I had no prior issues with my teeth. I ran far from him and obtained a much more honest dentist.
