Ken came out on time on a Saturday to give us an estimate on getting our sewage ejection pump working again. His estimate was reasonable, and he was willing to do the work that day, which was great as we were dealing with some sewage overflow under the house had to limit use of downstairs bathrooms and laundry. Ken started by explaining how the pump worked and what might be the problem. He ran into some challenges because the previous plumbers installed the pump incorrectly, but he kept going until everything was working great. He offered to come back later in the week to put some lime on the ground to clean up the area, and to add a pump alarm that had been cut by the previous plumber. Ken is the BEST plumber I have used! He's friendly, reasonable, makes sure the job is done right, he explains what needs to be done, and he is willing to follow up for even better support. Thank you Ken!! read more

Ken came out promptly on short notice, sized up the job (removing a hot water limit stop from a tub valve), and worked quickly, professionally, and courteously to solve the problem. I might add that this was DESPITE the incorrect information which we received from American Standard. The charge was about what we had expected for the work so we felt that Ken was honest. Plus he's a nice guy to deal with, and he wore appropriate clothing (including shoe covers) so that he didn't leave a mess for us to clean up. Ken came to temporarily fix our non functional shower amidst a remodel (with two small kids in the house). We scheduled him multiple days later to install a sink, fix our washer and dryer, and address a filter in our refrigerator. We stayed at a hotel for 3 days with a 21 month old and a 5 year old banking on his arrival and completion of even just a sink installation. About three years ago Ken came out and replaced my failing water heater. It worked ok for about 2 1/2 years and then failed. I contacted another plumbing service. Their plumber looked at it and told me that it couldn't possibly be only 2 1/2 years; in fact the date on it showed it was 10 years old!
