It had apparently slipped off my nose and was covering only my mouth. I wasn't greeted with, "Is there something I could help you with?" I would think places like this would be grateful that someone was walking into their store to make a purchase. Instead, they watch from at least 20 feet away to see if customers walking through their doors are "properly" wearing masks. My friend and I immediately left and went to Angel 101 where we wore our masks and gladly spent $200! Now that's a cute shop, and the workers there are beyond friendly and inviting!!! After reading other reviews it seems as if "rude" is a common word that is used to describe Taste of Toledo. I guess you need to enter at your own risk....

The fall smell of cinnamon sticks, apples, and fresh baked goods that radiates from the candles just about smacks you in the face the second you walk in the door. That alone, to me anyway, is well worth the trip across the parking lot from MacQueen's. The only issue is, everything is a bit pricey. If that headband wasn't $12, it would have been mine!
