Kenny is an extremely unprofessional person he lied to my wife and myself stating he was unable to get long heel replacements from any vendor. He has a real attitude. I don't recommend his services. Kenny has been in business over 30 years, so he must be doing something right all that time. I stopped in with a Brooks suede walking shoe that needed stitches repaired. I'm extremely disappointed with how my mom was treated when she visited Kenny's Shoe & Boot Repair. My mom brought two of her favorite pairs of boots in to be repaired. Kenny told her the boots were knock offs and that the soles were plastic and he couldn't repair them. She also wanted him to install a zipper on the second pair, and he told her that he would never put that fuzzy stuff on his sewing machine because it would ruin his bobbin. This was said in front of other people in the shop. His comments were embarrassing and completely uncalled for. He is rude and dismissive with zero customer service skills. I'm not sure of the quality of work done here but the customer service is crap. Went in to see if I could have my dads boots repaired Me: Yes I would like to have my dads boots repaired. They're falling apart but he loves them. Kenny ( I assume that was him, but am not sure): He can love them all he wants, I can't repair these. Then went on to tell me that they were plastic which is why he can't repair them . Me: You're customer service sucks Him: yeah people don't like being told I can't repair plastic I could care less about that part. Me being 'upset' was his snarky comment. he put taps on a pair of shoes quick and good service. the 2 stars is the next time I called and asked if he could glue the sole back on several pairs of shoes. Should have read the reviews here, but as far as I know this is the only shoe repair shop in Biloxi, so I went on in. The man at the counter (presumably Kenny) said yes, he could put new heels on my boots for $12, "takes 5 minutes." Red-faced, I had realized when I had parked that I had left my wallet home-- very unusual for me. I explained my dilemma, and asked if I could leave them and pick up tomorrow when I had payment (traffic was getting heavier at this hour, so a round trip home for my wallet would not be practical) ....Nope! All work must be paid in advance. Ok, so that's his policy, just so you, Dear Reader, know! No flexibility, "if I make everyone else pay up front, it's not fair if you don't." True- he's absolutely right. So he avoided possibly being 'taken' for $12, and lost a new customer for that king's ransom. My one-star is not reflective of his work, because I didn't have any done. Maybe he's having a bad day? I don't know, but I'll go a little farther afield when I do have my wallet. If he is the only game in town, I guess he has all the business he wants, so no need for service with a smile. read more

I would give minus stars if I could. Mean, cruel. Couldn't have cared less about my issue with my shoes. He was rude short tempered and DIDN'T LISTEN TO A THING I SAID!!!!!!
