The teachers are fantastic and I always felt comfortable leaving him in their hands. They have an indoor play room with large toys and a nice outdoor play set with a fence. No matter the weather they are able to get their energy out. We'll miss Highlands Preschool and we'll definitely bring our other children here in the future!

The school has been around for 70 years and for good reason! There is so much love and care. Every time I drop off my child, I know this is a place of love, safety, and intentionality. Every classroom is different and caters to students as a whole and individually. My child was one of the oldest kids and the teacher taught her leadership skills, and helpfulness with younger children. I loved the way the teacher helped my daughter solve problems. Whenever there was a small issue, it never felt like a big deal because it was solved in the classroom, and my child felt empowered to learn how to solve her own problems in a loving way. I would recommend Highlands Preschool to all families!

They even have translators in some classrooms for children who speak different languages. The teachers and administrators are very warm, loving and professional. My wife and I have watched our child grow confidence in her reading and math and all around. They host community eengagement events in the evenings to try to include as many parents as possible. We really love being part of the Skyway community and Lakerigde plays a huge role in that!!!

I appreciate that the teachers have clear rules and maintain a structured environment. The daily schedule is engaging and varied, and I particularly love the huge playground where children can play and run freely. Even when the weather is bad, they can still use their energy in the spacious church foyer. The teachers are fantastic and truly care about the children's development. Highly recommend!
