I'm staying at the Michael's House TLC (as they call it) currently after completing their inpatient…read more rehab down the street. First of all to get here I had to deal with Catherine (the orgs financial person) which was not cool. The place makes tens of thousands off of your insurance for the IOP/treatment side of things, yet I had to haggle with this broad over the rent to stay here. It was seriously like buying a used Hyundai in the hood. I had 800 bucks left to my name and had to work them down from 1200/month to 600/month and I knew there were people staying for as low as 150. After we agreed on price, she found out I had more money when I tried to loan another patient money and says that "any money you have left should be going to US!" The front office are a bunch money grubbing slimebags. Period. But upon arriving the staff is very cool, and the facility is wonderful. The pool is great and the rooms are neat an clean. No workout facility of any sort either here or at the inpatient which is nonsense and they advertise it online. The programming at inpatient was OK but too much of it. The IOP programming is completely worthless so you have to get it from outside meetings if you really want to work on yourself. Don't let them lie to you about the food at IOP. The inpatient food was the BEST institutional food I've ever had- worthy of a 4 star hotel. They claim they give you 2 meals a day at outpatient but its totally different food. Snacks mostly. Residents are currently dealing with staff letting a resident stay here who is stealing laptops from other residents and using drugs and there's always some Real World drama like that occurring but- that's rehab. Recommend but ask to deal with someone other than Catherine when handling anything financial. Good luck to you!

Horrible! This was the worst choice I made during my recovery…read more I was robbed during my stay by another patient. My entire wallet, glasses, IPhone were stolen. Sally the CEO, along with the manager, did nothing. I was then harassed by same patient. During my stay there were multiple relapses, one a week over a three month stay. I do have to give a 5 star rating to a couple of residential counselors, they really were supportive and all in recovery. Unfortunately, they had to follow the "rules". These rules were always based on whether the patient had a place to live and if they were still in the outpatient program. If they met these two, they were allowed to stay, even if they relapsed. If you are considering Michael s House TLC, please speak with previous patients who are stillsober. Leon R.
