These were a few of the phrases that caught my eye while window shopping in Manhattan. Surprised to learn that Kenneth Cole, a longtime supporter of community issues, had taken on mental health as a cause to bring to the forefront through his fashion lines. By reaching out to advocacy groups, business leaders as well as celebrities to share their own stories, he hoped to decrease the stigma surrounding mental health that was compounded by the stresses of the past few years. According to the World Health Organization (WHO), 1 in 4 people worldwide live with a mental health condition. Unfortunately, the majority, two-thirds, either don't seek help due to the stigma associated with mental illnesses or lack of access to care. By raising awareness and opening up conversations, hopefully the struggles faced won't be alone. The campaign that he launched is called 121. "Every 1 needs to talk 2 some 1." Ordered a t-shirt that I found amusing that was a collaboration with another group. Kenneth Cole charged $13 shipping and handling for a single t-shirt, but I was willing to support that other group. Product arrived defective (the text on the front of t-shirt was so light that I thought it was blank originally). I notified Kenneth Cole about the defect, and all they offered was a refund. However, their refund is only on the price of the product, not the $13 shipping...and they charge another $10 for the return label. So I'm out $23 for a defective product that they clearly provide no quality control over. Profiting off your customers with your defective products makes scam sites look legit. read more

I visited this store today for the first time and received a most excellent customer service experience from Jovan and Olivia. They were equally professional and very HELPFUL. Although I was just browsing, they helpedd me to select an awesome pair of shoes and a beautiful jumpsuit that made me look stunning-- ready now to be a well dress guest at an upcoming wedding. read more

I'm a fan of Kenneth Cole shoes so I found myself here last week to buy a new pair. I came to the 57th street location because I work across town. While the employees there were extremely nice and helpful, not in an overbearing way, I would suggest visiting one of the other locations in Manhattan as this one seemed to be short on supplies. It's a small L shaped store that is mostly dedicated to women. The small selection of clothing for men was unappealing. They didn't have the shoes I wanted in my size and although they did have underwear in my size, they had to go to the back to get them. All in all not a bad store, I'd just prefer to visit one of the other locations. read more

Nice place, not as busy as other Cole options in NYC - helpful service staff and great deals after the holidays. Not a huge fan of their shoes, but top notch shirts and pants for the price. read more

The cuts on your clothes is well tailored and your styles are classic and chic but walking into a store with the latest messages on your cause de celebre is mildly distracting / annoying. The quotes on the wall should go if nothing of interest is to be said. read more

Somedays on the eastside I need a respite from the vendors, performers and beggers. Recently, I shot into Kenneth Cole to take a break. For days, I had been checking the window displays....interested in how I might look in some of it. I was immediately greeted...and then greeted again and then greeted a third time by someone else. They really know how to greet ya. The shoe selection was the best fit for me. The clothing styles were very skinny (tapered to some)...I just didn't think I could rock much of it properly. But I found a pair of boots that I could not leave in the store..... Original looking ; combat meets soho styled black gems. I also picked up his book "Awearness" ...its a great, inspirational read. I recommend the book and the store...but stay away from my boots, man. read more

I reached out two different times to Kenneth Cole Reaction online in the last 6 months, regarding my bosses luggage issues. Each time I was helped with no questions asked, no balking at the issues about the luggage. Elizabeth Boyle @Heritage Travelware was extremely helpful this last time and my boss received replacements promptly. I wish that other people would take heed to "good customer service" and use the saying "treat people like you would want to be treated". Thank you to Kenneth Cole Reaction's customer service team.
