I took my completed paperwork with me and got signed in quickly; however, I sat and watched every caucasian patient that came in before me and after me called to the back until there were only four black patients sitting in the waiting room. Note that there were two of these black patients that got there before I did so I got up and asked for my appointment to be cancelled and the gall of the receptionist to ask if I wanted to reschedule was all I could keep from blowing up. I have great medical insurance that will be used at a more reputable office with reputable care. This racist office staff is despicable! I'm furious and I'm seeking an attorney's advice to see if I have a case against this racist act.

Since I was pregnant, my treatment options were limited. Before Thanksgiving, I called to make an appointment to see Dr. McKeon. She helped my husband with some wrist pain he had so I knew she could help me. They couldn't see me for almost two months but I knew it would be worth the wait. Parking and navigating the building was a bit confusing but I eventually found where her office was located. The check in process was quick and easy. My appointment was at 9:00 and I was called back around 8:55 AM. Dr. McKeon was in the room by 9:05 AM. She diagnosed me and gave me an injection to help. She gave me some literature on my diagnosis and told me what to expect and what to do if the pain resumes. For the first time in six months, I feel like my wrist is going to get better. I hope I don't have to come back but if I need their services, I wouldn't hesitate to do so.

He is very thorough, explains things in common language, and methodically lays out what is going to happen and when. I also want to add that the office staff, nurses and assistants are also friendly, thorough and knowledgeable. Each time I have called with a question, I receive an immediate answer and if the person on the phone cannot answer, a nurse returns my call soon after. Obviously, no one is perfect all the time but so far, I have had an excellent experience with Dr. Jones and the staff at Powell & Jones.

I was hit by a car as a pedestrian February 8 2018. and was referred to him. He based my total medical care on the X-rays and CT from the ER. He sent me straight to Physical Therapy without any further diagnostic testing. Several weeks later I continued to not be able to walk on left leg and upon seeing Dr Wolf again, I was advised "it would just take time for me to heal". A few weeks later I was told the same thing and PA was very rude saying he couldn't believe I couldn't walk on left leg. Finally around 9 weeks post accident an MRI was ordered after asking for one to be performed. The report indicated a Glut- Medius year with possible tendon involvement. Upon a phone call to Dr Wolf I was told by his PA that the MRI was normal and was being sent to a Back Specialist. (By this point I was having severe back pain and spasms due to overcompensating on opposite side). When questioning what I was told, the PA yelled at me and said "I'm just telling you what the man said"! Needless to say, I was told by the back doctor that there wasn't anything he could do. Finally after months of not being able to walk or put any pressure on my left leg, I was able to get in with another HIP Specialist who in my opinion, was a God Send and my Angel! He immediately looked at MRI and said I definitely had a tear and needed surgery. My hip surgery was the end of July. I was told that the injury was much worse than expected and was in a brace for weeks and continued PT for 12 weeks. I finally was released from the Hip specialist in November 2018. I just want to make it clear that I had the worst experience ever with Dr Wolf's office and felt very judged and stereotyped. Plus I was progressively getting worse instead of better. Could that have been a result of sending me straight to PT and performing exercises that were making things worse? I am a nurse of 20+years and would never treat a patient as I was treated in that practice!

It talks about the extremely efficient and friendly operation that they have mastered. That could not be done without fantastic doctors like Dr McKeon. After whizzing through the check-in process, being called back, and vetted by Dr. McKeon's assistant, she came in almost immediately after with a quick exam and even quicker diagnosis. What I thought was surely to be carpal tunnel syndrome, turned out to be its elbow dwelling cousin cubital tunnel syndrome. Fortunately she is a doctor that would much rather prevent surgery and figure out a solution. She gave me some instructions on what to do and what not to do. I was told to come back to see her a month later. On my second visit, I experienced the same expedited process and had been experiencing much less tingling. She said that was a step in the right direction. She was extremely friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. She even took the time to talk about twin parenthood (something we had in common). I highly recommend Dr. McKeon for any hand or wrist issues you may have.

I injured my ankle in October 2021. I went to urgent care and was told it was just a sprain, before…read moreseeing my normal nurse practitioner, getting an MRI, and finding out that I needed surgery(had two complete tears of my ATFL and my CFL). I was talking to the athletic trainer at my school about it and he said "Might as well have the best in the country operating on you" when he asked if I'd like to have my surgery done at Andrews. Me and my parents did research on Dr. Waldrop. I was nervous to have surgery done until meeting Dr. Waldrop. The first visit with him was November 19, 2021 and he confirmed that surgery would be necessary to fix my ankle. He answered all the questions that my mom had about surgery and made sure to tell us what he would be doing procedure wise. We got the surgery scheduled for 10 days after that. So on November 29, I had my surgery and after having surgery and going through physical therapy, I haven't had anymore injuries to my right ankle(Thank you Dr. Waldrop!!). Now, I've seen him probably 5 or 6 times since surgery. I just saw him last month August 2022, for a follow up appointment, but unfortunately had to let him know that I was still having some problems with my ankle. Dr. Waldrop had me moved to a room where he could do an x-ray to check the stability of my ankle from where he fixed it and he told me that my ankle stability was good. After talking to him more about what was going on, he talked to me and my parents about letting him put a shot in my ankle. I'm not a big fan of shots and normally refuse to get a shot, but I trust Dr. Waldrop, so when he said the shot was probably the best thing for me, I decided to let him give me the shot. The shot hasn't helped as much as I had hoped it would, so when I go back to see him, I'm hoping that we can find out for sure what is wrong with my ankle. I highly recommend seeing Dr. Waldrop and his team if you have to get ankle surgery. He really does care about his patients and how they feel about their injuries. I personally would not want to see anyone else to have my ankle treated. I'm very glad that Dr. Waldrop was the one to do my surgery because having the surgery has improved my quality of life greatly. If you want a surgeon that takes the time to talk to patients, explain your injury, and take the time to explain what can be done to treat it, Dr. Waldrop is the best person to go see!
