After about 2 weeks I got a call to return. Met with Dr Bowen and we discussed what needed to happen! Scheduled surg. And here we are a week later! Way more than I expected. I was concerned there might be problems. The office was so compassionate and said to come right in. There was almost no wait! They reassured me it would take time. We will follow up in a month!

Dr. Bramlett was recommended to me by my Endocrinologist and I couldn't be more thankful! After…read moreyears of seeing other Orthopedists who gave me no remedy, only filled me with shots, Dr. B finally gave me a SOLUTION for my double valgus knees. At my very first appointment, he said it was time for a Total Knee Replacement and I am so grateful! The other Orthos weren't even long long at my knees, just pumping steroids into my knees to 'get me through', every three months, which was ultimately weakening my bones and making my knock knees worse. Dr. Bramlett is a solutions and action type of guy - he wanted to HELP me, instead of just pass me off like the others. What I like best about Dr. Bramlett is his direct approach and communication, no dancing around the problem, but doing everything he can so I get BETTER and get my life back! I'm two weeks out from my TKR, and I am already walking without a walker - and I am so pleased with his skill and ability. This man has done over 30,000 joint replacements, which is more important to me than having a doctor who just placates me - I wanted a Surgeon who can help fix my legs, so I can get back to living LIFE. That is what Dr. B has done for me, and I'm ready for the second leg, knowing that I have one of the BEST Surgeons in the business!

I accompanied one of my parents who was having a procedure. I knew that I would almost certainly have to wait outside, and it was fortunately not too hot, and there was a nice shady spot near the entrance from which I could watch. It was a later appointment in the afternoon, and as the parking lot emptied I made a couple rounds of the parking lot. (Gotta get those steps in for the day!) Tip--when exiting next time, I will go around the back of the building to the lower exit which is further away from the curve and makes it easier to see. It soon became obvious that they were not only running behind but that we apparently were the last one of the day. Dr. Downey came out personally to not only tell me how the procedure went but to apologize for the wait and running behind. I thought it was very nice and unexpected that a doctor didn't just send out a nurse with the messages so that he could expedite his own departure. Moreover, my parent seems to be very pleased with the care and attention from Dr. Downey and his staff.
