Dr .Troy Mauvais is the only chiropractor that touched my back felt the problem and showed me on the Skelton said my lower disk needs to be popped out and is hitting a nerve. I had same spot issue a few days ago after went in and another person "adjusted" told them I had the same issue a year back. Did the neck crack and back crack and said "at least you got a ton of cracks" I went to another location the same day Dr. Brisbane gave me a 70 percent relief. But still had slight pain next day 2 days later came back in Dr.Mauvais felt my back said it's right here, cracked it and instantly felt the pop and release. If you have problems or issues he will find the area and heal you.

Very nice people who sincerely believe in what they do. The problem is that they will tell you that…read morethey can fix almost anything wrong with you, and they can't. I went to them for two months, 2-3 times a week and even paid for the magic $90-a-session table they told me about after I paid for adjustments. Didn't do a thing, no change. And the adjustments they do are fairly worthless, and the tests? Forget about it- no scientific proof they work. Plus, it seemed like every time I told them nothing was helping they would encourage me to stick with it, or buy another thing from them or someone else. They told me it would take months to help my back- but they have no idea. Their main goal is to keep you coming in and paying them. Dr. Simms is the worst in this regard. Nice guy- just doesn't think about value for his patients. It was also like pulling teeth to get a defined list of exercises, I basically had to do it myself. They're no worse than other chiros, and I'm sure they help people, but not people with my problem. Wish I hadn't spent so much money finding this out. Now I'll try the medical route, no shortcuts.

All chiropractors aren't created equal…read more Chiropractors try and sell the snap, crackle and pop. Not with the very best Dr. Colby. It is the type of care that is related to previous physical health, such as injury physically and mentally. Dr. Colby has the knowledge of how to properly treat me, who's had sciatic pain, at a young age. He did nervous tests, x-rays, etc. With those tests, he discussed how I would be treated based on current conditions and how to stretch and exercise at home. My alignment improved over time. After those tests and initial adjustment, I got the best care from Dr. Colby! My sciatic pain has went down tremendously. He knew how to locate pain points. He is gentle and very precise with how he adjusts. No matter if he was over in Granite Bay, or the other location in El Dorado Hills, he made sure I didn't go out until I was in relief. He has a great saying "move it, shake it, don't break it." I was sentimental having to move across the country after the care Dr. Colby has given me for months on end. He was understanding and helped me find a chiropractor in my new hometown to be sure I was getting the same care I've been receiving. The chiropractor recommendation became a smooth transition. I owe it to Dr. Colby for his education and whit of knowing how to properly treat his patients. If you've been looking for a truly effective treatment for your back and neck pain, that keeps you stiff day and night, look nowhere else. I'd like to add that Back to Health Chiropractic plays worship music in their office, which kept me at peace with my treatment. Unashamedly so, they are a company with Christian values!

They have had some front desk turnover and the billing is a mess. But I do believe they are working on it. It's the holistic aspect that I removed a star. But that didn't stop them from selling me on a months-long series of adjustments, then they brought out the magic $100-for-20 minutes table. And when I mentioned that it wasn't working, Dr Simms suggested other people I could pay for help, like Pilates. Wasted money all of it. Don't be like me, talk to a doctor first.
