This was my first experience with a chiropractor. I came to Dr. Falke with 2 related issues. Sharp neck pain when turning my head in certain directions, and shoulder numbness / tingling. I had been experiencing these issues for about 6 months and tried physical therapy as well as massage without much improvement, which is why I decided to finally see a chiropractor. In our first session Dr. Falke was able to give me a specific diagnosis, explaining to me in detail (very accurately in hindsight) what the issue was. He did not make any promises or set any expectations. He told me he would try his best, and that we'd go from there. He didn't try to sell me on a 6 month chiropractic plan, as I've read about other clinics doing. He then proceeded to adjust my neck and shoulder. I felt more or less the same when I left the clinic, but after 1-2 days, my neck had significantly improved. Again, I had been suffering with the neck pain for about 6 months, and Dr. Falke "fixed" it with basically one adjustment. I continued to see Dr. Falke once / twice a week for a month. He continued to adjust my neck for good measure, although it was already significantly better. The shoulder, however, took longer to begin improving. It eventually did, and coupled with me being more cognizant of my posture when sitting at my desk, as well as adding rest days to my exercise schedule, I can say that I feel like I'm basically back to 100%. I would recommend anyone considering seeing a chiropractor to see Dr. Falke. He really knows his stuff and is an honest practitioner. I will definitely be reaching out to Dr. Falke's office again in the future for any pain / discomfort I'm having. Thank you Dr. Falke! read more

It's nice to have a conversation with a doctor who has a sense of humor. It seems like most younger doctors have a humorectomy upon graduating. I was referred to Dr. Falke by my OB in my third trimester when I was suffering from severe pain caused by symphysis pubis dysfunction, which there is nothing medically you can do to resolve. Being that this is a rather difficult area to adjust and one that must be handled with a great deal of sensitivity and mindfulness, I felt very vulnerable being adjusted. But I trusted my OB would only put me in the best hands. And he did. Dr. Falke was able to adjust the area in a way that not only made me feel comfortable, but communicated everything he was going to do prior to doing it so that I knew what to expect. Within a few visits I began getting more relief, and he supported my OBs approach in combination with chiropractic which I appreciated - there was no stigma that one approach was better than the other. That is what you want from a great chiropractor, one that is invested in a collective effort to get a patient into healing, whatever that looks like for them. I'm now 9 months postpartum and continue to see him to get my body back in alignment after a traumatic labor. He has been a great advocate for my recovery, has been extremely empathetic about my postpartum depression and PTSD when other practitioners have been apathetic, and is overall a thoughtful and considerate person who cares about the patient beyond the adjustment. I would highly recommend Dr. Falke to pregnant women looking for chiropractic care during their pregnancy and postpartum, as he has helped me through an incredibly difficult recovery. I'm very grateful for his high level of care, appreciation of modern medicine, his working knowledge of managing pain brought on by pregnancy and above all, empathizing with female patients when it counts the most. As a medical malpractice legal professional, I can say without fear of reciprocity or contradiction that we need more chiropractors like Brad Falke in our community, especially in the field of obstetrics and gynecology. Awesome Dr. He really means what he says with no long term treatment! My neck felt really weird like it needed to be popped and I could barely get out of bed without pain from my mid back to the top of my head. I had two appointments with Brad Faulke. He was quickly able to assess my issues and recommend exercises I could do to help alleviate them. For the month between my first and second appointments I did these and saw improvement in my condition. After my follow-up appointment he told me only to return on an as-needed basis. I looked at many reviews of different chiropractors before choosing Blue Oak, and one of my biggest concerns was being overcharged or sold services I didn't need. Brad's polite and friendly attitude, excellent service, and honesty about how much help he could provide me with both improved my quality of life and cemented him in my mind as a trustworthy physician. I had injured my neck and went to him. He was rude and told me he couldn't help me because I was in pain and nervous to have my neck manipulated. He gave me a brief lecture on inflammation being the big problem today and then charged me full price for the brief I can't help you visit. I would not recommend him. read more

Very personable, listened, caring and answered questions. Came in as new patient with very bad kink in neck. He adjusted me, felt a little better initially but after about 5-10 min, kink came right back with a vengence. Doesn't mean that I won't try him again. At least the neck was fine by the next day. This review is long overdue. I haven't seen Dr Falke for a few years. But for all the chiropractors my wife and I have seen over the years (like 10+ together), Dr Falke is by far the best. (and Heather is wonderful too). He does what's best for his patients and will not do anything unnecessary. If it's a condition that can't be helped through chiropractic practice, he will honestly tell you. (From my experience, many chiropractors will suggest something for you even if they don't know what the actual issue is). I've seen Dr. Falke three times now. He is gentle and takes his time. I saw improvement each time with my back problems (shooting pain down to my foot. Urgh). I'm looking forward to seeing him again and continuing to improve. I had seen another chiropractor in the Placerville area and have to tell you there was a world of difference. For one thing, the first chiropractor charged $100 for the initial exam and treatment. Dr. Falke charged $50. Second, I felt worse after each visit with the first chiropractor. I want to share my experience with Dr. Falke so other so not experience the uncomfortable experience I had. I am 20 years old and I recently went in to get treated for pain from hip dysplasia and scoliosis so I am aware that in over to be examined there is close physical contact in areas that could be uncomfortable. It was mainly the comments he made during my visit that made me uncomfortable and were very unnecessary. When examining my spine, he commented on my bra and said "cute bra". He asked me if I have any had any surgeries, which is a totally reasonable question to ask but he followed up by asking if I had any breast surgeries. However... I am a small girl with naturally big breasts and I felt that question was more of a comment on my body than a needed medical question. Dr. Falke said he was going to give me some exersize to help with my hip dysplasia and strengthen my gluteal muscles which was great, however, he said that we were going to get me a "big ass" cause "people like that". I again, felt like this was an unnecessary comment on my body because I do have a smaller bum. I was very uncomfortable with the way Dr. Falke sexualized me in my appointment. He also asked me if I had a boyfriend which was unnecessary and awkward. I am not one to post any reviews anywhere but my hopes in posting this is to protect others (especially young girls) from being put in this uncomfortable position. I arrived on time for my initial appointment and was not greeted by the front desk staff; completely ignored actually. The waiting room was crowded and barely had enough seats for all the waiting patients. After completing the initial forms, staff still barely acknowledged my existence. By then, I'd been waiting over 15 minutes and there were sill 3 people ahead of me. Finally decided to give up and try a different practice.
