THIS PLACE IS SO CUTE…read more I travel to the area for work and wanted to find a local coffee shop. This is an awesome location, close to downtown, you don't have to travel down Maple to find something! So convenient. We walked in and everyone was SO nice and welcomed us. They were literally making fresh cinnamon rolls in front of us. They had some amazing looking pastries and goodies - we got a snickerdoodle and homemade oatmeal cream pie. Omg. They were both so drool worthy. We also both got lattes, they use torani syrups. SO GOOD. So good. I liked all their flavor options, and their espresso competes with some of the big chains. I prefer local, and I urge more people to do the same. This place is bomb.

A+ for the detail! The interior gives a cozy and modern, yet rustic feel. It may be small, but there's plenty of seating. I wish I could have seen the attached deli, but it was closed on Sunday when we went. They have a small section of merch, which is a bit pricey, but nicely designed! Of course, I had to get the matcha latte. I was a little bummed that the smallest iced drink size option is a medium, but that's okay. I subbed the regular milk for oat milk and kept the standard vanilla syrup addition. It was really good! Maybe a bit sweet, but I'm sure one less pump of syrup would have fixed that. Overall, I was very pleased with my drink and would order it again! Hopefully they add a few "fun" drinks to the menu like a fruit matcha, tiramisu latte, or something of the like as they get more business! This place has so much potential and I'm excited to see how they'll grow!

A Pain Au Chocolat croissant better than what you'll find anywhere in France? I'm thinking yes. No,…read moreI'm telling you, yes! So rich and flaky, they've definitely done their homework, and this boy knows his croissants! I just got back from Paris (name drop.) This up-and-coming baker of the finest croissants this side of the Atlantic is located in Zanesville, Ohio, but you won't need a day trip to experience their flaky layers of perfection. You can find them at their Granville Market booth, at various Zanesville events throughout the year or now in Columbus, OH, at The Hills Market, in the freezer section in 6-count boxes. Even more exciting news is they bought a new place in May, are currently renovating and planning a late September 2014 opening of a storefront. Can. not. wait. Fall. road. trip. You can also order their goodies on their site, which I haven't done (obviously.) A 12 pack runs around $40, which is a little steep but once you do the math $3 each for such quality is quite a deal. Especially when round-trip tickets from Columbus to Paris is averaging what, $1100-$1700?

I decided to buy basically one of everything they had left(come early) and I was amazed with all of it. The croissants are what croissants are *supposed* to be, but the real star of the show for me was the mushroom quiche. I could eat those things daily and not complain. If you make your way in, be sure to try a little bit of everything. That's my only advice. Oh, and like I said, come early.
