I purchased a Tesla, and I was fortunate to have Garage Charge come highly recommended to me by other EV owners. And, thank goodness I listened. These folks are the pros. They knew how to install my charger when I bought my first Tesla...connected it into the panel, ran the wiring where I wanted it, set up my WiFi, provided me with the IRS form so I could get a tax rebate, and cleaned up afterwards (they even brought their own dustpan and whisk broom!). I called and An appointment was scheduled, promptly, for the next day. Our service technician was Leo, who was very courteous and knowledgeable. He performed a diagnostic check on the unit and after a short period of time, had it performing perfectly again. He took photos to show the problem to be a loose connection, most likely from the manufacturer. The upstairs is now cool again. I really appreciated Leo's kindness and explanation of the problem! In needed rewiring of a single room in a bedroom that had been taken to the studs. Luke Dunlap did…read morenot wire outlets to code and left live, unterminated wires in the wall, nearly causing a fire. I then had to pay another contractor to repair the fire hazards he left where our children slept. When confronted, Luke Dunlap elected to levy blame on the builder, who had nothing to do with the electrical work. Improper outlets were used for the application and outlets themselves were not taped, which is another fire hazard. My builder then showed me the things he had to fix that were done by this "electrician". The man charged me a week's worth of carpentry wages for a single day of irresponsible and imminently potentially fatal wiring. We also discovered that he charged us for installation of outlets that were already completed by another contractor, thus charging us twice the money. This makes me wonder what a search into his history would unveil.
