This is an update to our original review of Hedrick's repair service. After we got our lawn mower…read moreback from his shop the first time, we experienced a rattling noise when mowing that wasn't there before. Tony picked the mower back up to fix that. Though he didn't know what went wrong? There was no charge for that. He had to keep the mower for about a week both times he had it. The pick up and drop off of the mower became quite complicated as well. His prices ended up being on the high side for the smaller fixes that he did. For these reasons we took off 2 stars. He was honest to not replace an entire transmission when it wasn't needed after all. We were thankful for his honesty there. Our mower still wants to bog down now and then while mowing. But, that may be a different issue. Over all, his services are average.

When I dropped…read moreit off, they gave me an estimate of the service and when I picked it up, it more than doubled. On the paperwork, it stated they had it running for 10 minutes, and it was fine. But the real problem started when they brought out my Toro and I asked them to start it up. After several pulls, it didn't start, and they took it back in to find the problem. He returned a few minutes later and told my the spark plug wasn't hooked up. So, after they ran it for 10 minutes, he unplugged the spark plug? Still having the same issues, just with less money in my pocket. Would not recommend.

I bought a toilet handle and other items at the Connolly store located on Wells Street. Unfortunately the handle was the wrong color for my toilet. So I tried to return the item to the Connolly store located on Maplecrest near my house. I was informed rudely by the young lady that that this location would not take the item back even though both stores are Connolly's. The reason being that although each store has the same ownership, they do not carry the same inventory. Since Maplecrest did not carry the toilet handle, I would need to drive across town to the Wells Street location to return the item. I asked to speak to the Manager and he told me the same thing. That is the way the Owners want return to happen. It is the responsibility of the customer to return an item to the correct Connolly store. I say this is POOR Customer service and will never shop there again.
