The chicken strips weren't great, and the burgers were clearly made from frozen patties. Honestly, the fries and BBQ sauce were the only things we really enjoyed. I also paid $0.70 for a side of ranch, which was disappointing--it looked curdled and had more of a blue cheese texture than ranch. Another thing to note: the menu that's been posted in some of the older reviews is outdated--by about two years. Prices for most items are around $2 more than what those photos show, so keep that in mind when budgeting your visit. Lastly, I'd highly recommend that the owners update their menu signage. It's confusing and not very user-friendly. For example, there's no clear indication of which meals include fries and which don't--it feels random. In short: friendly staff and local charm, but the food and menu organization could use some serious attention.

We've been visiting Grand Coulee regularly over the past four years to see family, and this coffee…read morestand used to be our favorite. In fact, when we first started coming, I would've said it was hands-down the best coffee on the east side of the mountains. Unfortunately, the quality has gone downhill significantly over the last two years. The drinks have become overly sweet and milky, with noticeably less coffee flavor--even when ordering extra shots. The breakfast sandwiches are now consistently burnt, and the baked goods taste stale. On our most recent visit over the Fourth of July weekend, there were over nine cars in line. If you're familiar with this stand, you know the drive-thru setup is awkward, with service on only one side like a McDonald's. The line stretched all the way into the Safeway parking lot, making it inconvenient for everyone. Surprisingly, we got through the line faster than expected--but that quickly made sense once we received our drinks. My triple shot tasted like nothing but milk and white chocolate--no trace of espresso at all. The muffin was stale, the sandwich burnt, and I ended up tossing the entire drink and grabbing an energy drink from Safeway instead. Sadly, we won't be back. After giving this place several chances, it's clear the quality and care that once made it great are no longer there. I can't recommend it anymore.
