Becuz of the long wait, i decided to keep more in touch with manager. A couple of the reasons for the wait parts were back ordered, this n that (understanding). Now they finished. Ok. Kool! I had a really good experience here today. I had scratches in my car that I put there myself trying to get off some spots and I made an appointment to get those spots buffed out. They took my car right away and said I could wait because it would t take to long.... it only took a half an hour and the owner Kyle told me it was no charge. When does that ever happen anymore? Here's what I learned - the State of Rhode Island allows you to pick the collision center YOU want to use even though my insurance wanted me to go to there "approved" body shop - why ? ...because my initial quote from them was HALF of what was needed to fix my car. The underlying "stuff" that needed to be fixed was beyond just cosmetic. Mr Rocha and his team preformed so well. I'm delighted with my car - I'm the second owner and honestly it looks brand new ! I don't wish an accident on anyone yet if you are hit - this is the place to go.. Oh ya - I couldn't pick up my car until the day after it was ready. THEY WASHED IT AND DETAILED IT AGAIN. I put off fixing my car for an entire year after my accident because of how difficult it was to find time to talk to my my insurance company, set up a time for an appraisal while I worked 40hrs a week, and avoid paying my high deductible for a rental. I was referred to Ken Rocha Collision by a co-worker and they took over my burden within an hour of sending my first email. I was contacted by Kyle who assured KRC would handle everything from that moment forward. He said his assistant, Amanda, would reach out to set up a day and time to get my rental. They even offered to come to my work to deliver the car if we couldn't find a time that fit my schedule. All interactions were by email which was incredibly helpful as not everyone has the luxury of taking personal calls while at work. The accident wasn't my fault so I didn't have to pay my rental deductible (despite what my insurance company had me believe a year prior). I was very satisfied with Ken Rocha Collision for going above and beyond what I expected. An acquaintance recommended them. My car door was damaged when my passenger opened her door into oncoming traffic and it was hit. The door wouldn't close and I had to tie it from inside until it could get fixed. My Toyota is already 14 years old but still works great. I am more interested in keeping her running well than looking pretty, and did not want to spend a lot of money on her exterior. Kyle worked with me to keep the cost down, and the fee ended up being very, very reasonable. He made sure I has happy with the results. The repair was done in less than a day, so never ended up interfering with my work schedule. They also volunteered to give me rides home even though I was prepared to walk. I will definitely use them again if I need to and will recommend them to others.
