Use them quarterly. Very friendly and always on time. Flexible schedule and good working around pets.

Precision Snake And Wildlife Removal

Precision Snake And Wildlife Removal

I WOULD NOT recommend PRECISION SNAKE AND WILDLIFE REMOVAL, principal contact BEAUX NEWLUN, in Tye,…read moreTX for anything! My experience with them started a little over a year ago when I discovered a skunk under my mom's house in Anson. I contacted the city animal control office and they referred me to Mr. Newlun, because that's who they've worked with before for wildlife removal. I made an appointment with Mr. Newlun and he and his partner came to my property and appeared very professional and knowledgeable. Mr. Newlun informed me that in addition to them capturing wild animals, his company also does home repairs to prevent animals from coming into the house in the future. He was very motivated and offered to do the necessary home repairs immediately "because it was going to be a very bad summer for snakes". Before I signed anything, I researched this company and noted the number of positive reviews and did not see any negative comments on the company's Facebook page or with the Better Business Bureau, at that time. He had also informed me he was a volunteer firefighter in Tye and we also had a mutual friend. After due diligence and not finding any red flags, at the time, my husband and I chose to move forward and signed the contract and paid Mr. Newlun so he could buy the materials to begin the home repairs on our property that week, as he had stated. Unfortunately, he did not return. Over time, it turned into one excuse after another, to include claiming to be very sick off and on. Because everything checked out in the beginning, I gave him the benefit of a doubt and patiently waited for him to recover and get back to my home repair. I soon discovered that he was not sick enough to take on other jobs with other customers. According to the Precision Snake and Wildlife Removal Facebook page (which has since been taken down), he had completed jobs for the Texas Highway Department, numerous home repairs and wildlife removals and never returned to begin my home repair. I reached out to him on numerous occasions to resolve this issue; however, he continued to have one excuse after another. He would also state, "I'm so embarrassed. This is not how I do business." Well, apparently, it is. As a result, I sought legal counsel and with the slow wheels of justice I finally had my day in court. Mr. Newlun was a "no show" and the court found in my favor. He now owes me not only my full refund, but also accrued interest, court and legal fees. After my terrible experience with this company, I have seen other negative reviews with similar experiences and responses from Mr. Newlun, as mine. As I stated to the judge, "I noticed the dates of other complaints with this company, and I feel confident that I was the first person that Precision Snake and Wildlife Removal has taken money from and never returned to do the job he agreed to do". I know I will be criticized for paying for a job up front, but when you are given a referral by a reliable source, they inform you they are a firefighter, you have a mutual acquaintances, there were no initial red flags after researching reviews and there's a race against time to stay ahead of the wildlife, I did what I needed to do at the time.

They seemed very knowledgeable and professional on the first trip. I made the mistake of paying…read morethem and I have never seen them again and they didn't even do half the work, so now I'm having to go through the court to get my money back. You can't get an answer out of him and when you do get him, he has a long drawn out excuse every time definitely would never use them again would not recommend them to anyone.
