I suffer from spinal injuries, compressed and degenerating discs, and cervical spine stenosis, all of which have me in pain most days. My major complaint for the past 10 years has been chronic, debilitating headaches that last for weeks on end. These headaches would have me in tears and in bed. Nothing I tried help. I have had multiple MRIs, x-rays, tried acupuncture sessions, massage and medication to no avail. About 6 months ago a friend told me about NUCCA therapy and Dr. Hallmeyer. I had zero clue what NUCCA was but being desperate for any relief I gave it a go. OMG! Life. Changing. Never in my wildest dreams did I think that the care and attention paid by Dr. Hallmeyer and NUCCA technique would actually help. I even went into it thinking it wouldn't help (pessimistic I know). But GUESS WHAT!? This is the real deal. Within the first couple of months Dr. Hallmeyer treated the misalignment in my cervical spine, which actually started to hold! Despite this, my headaches were still occurring. Dr. Hallmeyer went a step further and did a follow-up x-ray right in the office to re-evaluate my cervical spine. He found something there that he thought might treat my headaches so he gave it a go. AMAZING! Within a day or two my headaches were gone. GONE! With the tiniest of pressure on just the right spot, he was able to move my spine into a different position, relieving the exact location that was causing my headaches. 10 years of searching for relief and it was really THIS easy! I still get headaches on occasion but we're new into this adjustment and my cervical vertebrae still slip out of position sometimes. I have a high stress job and I don't doubt that it plays a roll in that plus allergies and a couple of other medical issues that cause headaches. BUT whereas before I was suffering every single day, my headaches have been reduced to around 5 days a month! Dr. Hallmeyer has significantly increased my quality of life, my hope, and faith in medical care providers. He is fun, caring, compassionate, empathetic, and really cares about you and your wellbeing. My favorite part is that he continues to learn everyday! She practices something called the Graston Technique. In short? It's terrifying and painful at first. However the payoff was completely worth the initial discomfort.
