I was working with another Dr in the same clinic using StemWave therapy to help a should and neck issue I had been dealing with for 10 years (which I also highly recommend). My shoulder and neck would literally trigger each other in pain and it was extremely hard to do much as a result. I had done an ablation through my pain therapy clinic but that did not solve the issue, it temporarily helped the neck but the shoulder remained on fire. My pain over the last two years was in the 7-9 pain levels. I tried the Stemwave therapy and it was completely helping my shoulder pain. My shoulder pain was gone, but I can tell it was not 100% solving the issue in my neck because it was structural. The shoulder was doing so much better and the triggering of pain between the neck and shoulder was gone, but the neck started creeping back in as ablation started to wear off. For me this was not acceptable and I began to fear the pain coming back with a vengeance. The Stemwave Dr initially told me about the Atlas Orthogonal treatment as a solution and thought I would be a good candidate for it so I reached out to Dr. Prentice and got the ball rolling. SO HAPPY I DID. My pain is a zero in my neck and shoulder now!! I am in ongoing treatment as it is a process to fixing the structural issues that had been present for many decades, not just the past 10 years of constant neck pain I have experienced. I am 100% happy with the results and highly recommend people trying this treatment as a solution, not just a band aid and without surgery or a temporary fix. It is also important for me to mention, I am also doing decompression therapy for a stage 1 slipped disk that keeps on slipping and causing me to not do the living I like to do and though I am early in the process, I am extremely hopeful this therapy will be what I need to fix....not just mask this issue. Stay tuned, I will certainly provide an update once I am on the other side. My goal is to avoid surgery in my back. A stage 1 disk slippage can easily go from 1 to done if one is not careful. To all of you going through pain, do some research on your own as I did and ask yourself, is this masking my issue or truly helping it. I went to Dr. Jim after experiencing low back pain that continued to increase over time. In two weeks my pain was reduced to a manageable level using only the stretches he has taught me along with the adjustments at our visits. Prior to meeting with Dr. Jim I would take at lest 1200 mg of ibuprofen daily. My pain is now down to a level that I don't need any medication to get through the day. Without his help I would still be suffering. Dr. Jim isn't the typical spend 5 minutes with a patient, perform an adjustment, and collect his money type of chiropractor. Dr. Jim is personable and takes the time to discuss your issues and treatment with you. Dr. Jim has always discussed what he's doing and why he's doing it. He teaches you why you are in pain, what you need to do to get better, and how to prevent any further injuries. I've done chiropractic treatment and physical therapy in the past for other issues. Dr. Jim seems to be a mix of both disciplines, which, in my opinion, is the best option for treatment. I highly recommend visiting with him to see if he can help you.

My appointment is at 10:30 and I arrive at what I think is the building at 10:20. It's a large warehouse. You finally park on the street and walk toward the door and it says CrossFit on it. No one is at the counter and I called the number on my confirmation email and no one answers. It goes straight to voicemail. I leave a message and still have no help at the counter. Dr Jim calls me ten minutes later and says he was with a patient and he wants to touch base but when I begin telling him how uncomfortable I was at the facility that didn't even have chiropractic on it he says rudely "I know I listened to your voicemail goodbye" No staff to help him and no signage, how are customers to know what to do? Find a name that is your own and hire someone to be at the front and answer your phone. Just my advise.

This review has been a long time coming and honestly, I've had a lot of mixed emotion about writing…read moreit because I don't like bashing small businesses, but I feel completely taken advantage of and am saddened at the shady billing practices and integrity of this business. I was in a bad motorcycle accident last summer and started going to Living Well (I'm honestly not even sure how I found them as my memory of last summer is pretty nonexistent) for physical therapy for my knee and a severe head injury that I obtained after being hit. With the severity of the TBI (traumatic brain injury) I was dealing with - I should have been referred elsewhere - to someone who was better equipped and had the resources to help with my head injury. Being that I was pretty out of it most of the summer - I didn't see anything necesarily "wrong" with the treatment I was receiving but I was noticing over time that the "treatment" I was receiving did absolutely nothing for the cognitive issues I was having (and still am). Looking back it was complete negligence on their part. They had me coming in 3x a week for months and I saw little to no progress being made in my cognitive function - yes I was more coherant and I was able to move my neck better than when I first came in (thank you for that) but nothing was done for my severe head injury that would actually warrant me coming in as often as I was - except for of course, to rack up a massive bill that they would later come after me for. I'm going to assume most people aren't informed in all of the technicalities of accidents/insurance and how you are billed in light of these events (I wasn't and they knew this). On your vehicle - you have what's called a PIP policy (personal injury protection), when you are receiving medical treatment post accidents - all of your medical is billed through this policy and everything is 100% covered until your policy runs out, then it is billed through your regular medical insurance. After about the first month or so, the receptionist started to let me know that my insurance wasn't paying them out - which I found odd because they were paying out all of my other visits no problem (chiro and neurology visits). I asked my lawyer to speak with insurance in regard to this, as I was not legally allowed to communicate with them during an open investigation. We finally learned that Living Well only attempted to bill my insurance a few times (I would like to add - based on what we are able to see from my PIP ledger) over the 3.5 months I was receiving treatment and I racked up a $7200 bill - that should have ALL BEEN COVERED through my PIP policy. So when my PIP policy ran out from all the appointments I was going to (about 5-6 a week for all my care providers for months) they started trying to get me to sign paperwork to get a chunk of my settlement money (which the fine print, my lawyer deemed as unreasonable and advised me not to sign). What does this mean for Living Well? They get more money if they wait to bill me directly instead of insurance - about 2x more according to my lawyer. On top of all of this - they sent me a card THANKING me for sending them part of my settlement money - that I deserved to keep after almost having my life taken and months of PTSD that I had to work through. I would NEVER recommend this business to anyone, I am saddened - I really liked Dr. Z, he seemed like a nice guy but I feel sick, I feel completely taken advantage of. DO NOT SUPPORT THIS BUSINESS.

Their insurance had them go to a Chiropractor for their whiplash, aches and pains. Out of the blue they found a Chiropractor with an available schedule that day and went. They were all truly amazed at how well they felt the next day and because of that experience one of my brothers became a practicing Chiropractor. I have had a few Chiropractors in the past that I went to but didn't feel they made much of a difference but after going to Dr. S I always experience quick results. I also convinced my husband to go after he had been experiencing a lot of back pain and even he swears by our Chiropractor (though he's a typical man and really won't go into the doctor unless I insist on it). What I love about the clinic is Dr. S really wants to make sure you feel well and he won't recommend you come in multiple time unless it is absolutely necessary. He is a reliable and honest doctor.
