They…read moreschedule too many patients back to back & you're kept on hold for long periods to make an appointment - the other day I was on hold for over 10 mins and finally had to hang up - you also wait for a long time in the waiting room to get adjusted because they schedule patients on top of one another - what's worse is there's only one exam room that's a community room so when you get adjusted and want to talk about private topics, it's in front of everybody in the office. Zero privacy! I wanted to have a private talk with the owner & she brushed me off in a very arrogant manner & she said she was too busy to talk. They are all about volume and not personalized service - I got home and within 30 mins I made an appt with another firm - there are many other chiropractors in town who run a professional & efficient office. Elk's lack of professional is beyond the pale. They need bigger office space to accommodate all who they schedule, and patients should have private rooms - I've been going to chiropractors for over 30 yrs and I've never not had a private room where a patient can have a private convo with the doctor.

Finally, after 45 days she got back to me. When we talked, she started out by reneging and being adversarial to set up a date and time for a treatment. Her exchange with me was pretentious, disrespectful and unprofessional. This is not the way to treat new clients. I would not recommend contacting this office for a massage; makes you wonder if her regular clients (including new clients) or the Chiropractor clients get treated this way like the way I was unnecessarily treated.

I recently found Dr. Hamilton. To my wife and myself in several visits DR. Hamilton has shown us his treatments are helping us out. We both have issues with neck , lower back , hip , thigh and foot areas. Our visits are usually 30 - 40 min. We are both pleased so far . Dr. Hamilton does take our insurance coverage (Aetna) which is important to us. He believes that it's not good to over crack a lot because it wears on your joints, plus the tight muscles he works on are what is pulling your bones out of alignment anyways. I've been in pain a lot over the years and he has helped tremendously! He always makes me feel safe and takes time to listen. He won't do any weird things to surprise you like some people. I'm kind of picky about my neck and he makes sure not to adjust my neck and I hate when people yank on my legs so he always remembers not to do that. Don't hesitate, you will be happy you went.

Dr. Lisa Nordhus was referred to me by a friend. I called her office and explained how much pain I was experiencing. She was kind and sympathetic to fit me in the very next day. After the treatment I was a little sore, but to my surprise,the range of motion in my arm had improve significantly. The burning throughout my neck and shoulder area was hardly noticeable.
