This is a very nice RV park. What I like most about this park are the trees. Most RV parks I have stayed in have no trees whatsoever or just a couple. Kemah has lots of huge trees like you would find in an old city park. There is also a nice pool and community building with exercise equipment, TV and more. They have nice level extra wide concrete pads for parking your trailer on. The park is very quite and the other RVers are friendly. They have a park with two small ponds and a nice gazebo with a grill.
The only things they I don't like about the park is it feels cramped. The roads are narrow and some of the parking spaces are extremely tight. I only have a 24 foot trailer and I almost never got it in my space, and am not sure if I can get it out. This problem is partly do to the abundance of trees, which I love (my trailer is completely in the shade). The park was built in a forest with minimal tree removal so that is part of the space problem, but most of the other dwellers are permanent residents and have built substantial additional structures onto the their trailers like decks and gazebos which further reduces the space. To put it in a nutshell, there zero wasted space. Another thing is the ponds, one of which is dry and the other is nothing but a mud hole. I guess it is because of the drought, but they should not advertise fishing ponds on their website when there are none.
The bottom line is, you have to look hard to find something to complain about in this park. This place is constantly at full capacity no matter the season and that says a lot right. You will be lucky to get a space here. read more
