The restroom amenities they offer are nice, but the guests are disgusting. I've seen women not use toilet paper because they don't provide it, it's posted. Being your own stuff. I've gone in there with my child and was scared of the curtain. It has literal poop on the damn thing and it's not on one it's all 3 curtains. Does have great water pressure though. read more

If you're lucky enough to get a spot in this RV park (with almost 100 spots) grab it, you won't be disappointed!! This park is very popular and usually full. I lived in my RV for a year here, while transitioning from North TX and looking for a house. It's clean and provides many amenities that other parks do not. First they are very kid and pet friendly ! Several parks I attempted to get a spot at (before finding this one) wouldn't allow children. Gordy RV has a swimming pool, kid park and 2 dog parks. The other amenities include wifi, showers and laundry which are kept immaculate! I found this to be a very safe place for my family of 4 to live at. We kept our grill, Coleman stove, lawn furniture, (my son's) bike and many fruiting plants outside and they were never touched by anyone other than ourselves. Lastly the office staff Michelle is always just a phone call away 24/7, and very helpful! read more

I'm no expert on RV parks, as this is the first one I've ever stayed at. But if it gets better than Gordy Road RV park, I don't know how. First, the place is clean and well-maintained. There are laundry facilities, showers, lounge area and wi-fi. I think the office staff must screen people because everyone in the park is as friendly as can be. The office staff is very friendly as well ... and responsive to guest's needs. Whether it's for a weekend (this place is located near Kemah and Galveston) or for longer term (I've been here a few months as of this writing), I highly recommend Gordy Road RV Park. read more

This place is a gem, we wish every RV park/resort was as good. For two years after retirement, we full timed it to travel & visit family/ friends/ and places throughout Texas & the S/W. This became our home base. Clean, quiet, everything looks & working as new. Management (Michelle) is organized, professional, polite, friendly, attentive, and on top of business. Concrete pads and grass at every site. Paved driveway throughout. Clean children's playground, fenced & gated. Two clean, fenced dog parks. Pond. Laundry room is excellent. Bathrooms clean with plenty of hot water & heated & air conditioning. We'll return here without hesitation. read more

Wow! Gordy Road RV Park sure has stepped up their game!! They added a pool, a playground, and more washers and dryers! They are adding a pond in the back of the park and more RV sites. Very well kept RV park. Always clean. Management was outstanding. One fault was the roadway into the concrete slabs. There's a large hole that is difficult to maneuver around, especially pulling or driving an RV. read more

This was our 2nd time to stay at this park. We were here for a month this trip. The park is clean, quiet, and well maintained. It is dog and kid friendly and has the nicest laundry facility of any RV park we've ever stayed in. The park roads and RV sites are smooth concrete with NO potholes. Many of the guests are long-term workers, but there are always sites available for short stays. The location is great. Close to the Kemah Boardwalk, Galveston, and NASA. There are lots of great restaurants and shopping spots nearby. Michelle does a great job managing the park and very nicely reminds the guests to comply with the reasonable rules. I would have given this review 5 stars if not for the very bad AT&T cell phone reception (not the park's fault) and the iffy WiFi. Sometimes the WiFi is good, and other times it is terrible. Bottom line is we will definitely stay here when we come back to this area. Don't waste your time looking at other RV parks in the area. This one is by far the best. read more

We stayed here for a little over a month in this park. Clean, Quiet, and safe environment. Well maintained. Fenced in on three sides. Level spots. I felt very safe walking my dogs morning, noon, and night. Two dog parks are available as well as other grassy areas at the front and back of the park. Nice small playground for supervised children. The office area was very clean and free coffee, library, and a relaxing family room with nice furniture was made available. I didn't use the laundry or bathroom facilities there so I can't comment. Michelle takes great pride in making sure the whole facility runs correctly which I appreciate. She was always very pleasant. Some additional parking is available at the office. We were fine with our duely and fifth wheel in our spot but many had their additional vehicles parked in the grassy area of their spot which could be muddy. This is a great park to stay! My husband and I have been here since they opened and it has gotten better and better. They have a small dog park in the front by the office, a small playground for kids, a nice restroom with showers for men and women, a Landry room with plenty of washers and dryers and a nice sized pool. Went up on monthly rent 75 dollars to improve the wifi. 2 months later the wifi is the same crappy wifi that won't even load a 6 second video. The management has rules that only apply to a select few and the others get away with whatever they want. I can see now why folks are moving down the road. As of today 12-14-2015 management has read my 1 star and asked us to leave the park. This kind of childish retaliation is not a place I would recommend staying at. read more
