I had a blow out on my GMC Acadia about 9 miles north of Encino, NM at around 8;30 PM. Even though…read moreI tried all I knew, I was unable to lower the spare tire fully to the ground in order to change the blown out tire. My wife brought our GMC pick up so I tried to use the spare from the pick up on the Acadia. After many tries to match up the bolts I realized the patterns didn't match. Vehicles kept zooming by, many not moving to the far lane (dangerous). No one stopped to help. After several hours, we finally decided to leave the Acadia until next day. As we were moving our belongings from the Acadia to the pickup, a huge truck stopped and the gentlemen said they could help. This was around 3 oclock in the morning. It was like a miracle to us! The men knew exactly what to do and how to unlock the Acadia's spare and quickly managed to change the blown tire and soon we were on our way home with both vehicles, arriving home at 6:00 AM. To us, that late at night, when no one else helped, it was like a saving grace! We cannot thank Al and Steve of Elite Tire Service enough for coming by at the right time and the right place. We highly recommend this business. A helping hand is always welcome!

I have to say that when I walked onto the lot yesterday, I did not expect much. I had been in a…read morecouple of times since moving to Carlsbad 3 years ago. Both times, the staff had zero interest in selling us anything, even though we were ready to purchase. In those cases, we ended up buying elsewhere. Recently, we had been looking for another vehicle, and noticed that they had one in our price range like we were interested in. Walked up to the dealership, and there were a couple of salesmen sitting outside on a break. DJ (Donel) was very friendly, laid back, and not pushy at all. He showed us the vehicle, let us take it on a test drive, etc. We decided it was what we wanted, so we ran the numbers and came to an agreement. There had been a warning light come on in the car when we drove it. The guys in the shop could not get it fixed, and the manager was concerned about selling us the car with a problem. He and DJ noticed that one with less miles had just come in, but was still being checked in. They got it and pulled it around, and it was even better shape with about 1/4 of the miles on it we were looking at initially. They were able to sell it to us for about the same price! Very pleased with the dealership. They treated us well, and there was no pressure. Good job, Carlsbad Ford.

Just enough time for them to steal the company gas card out of my truck and a large brand new tide pod laundry detergent out of the backseat. Keep in mind all they were supposed to do was detail the vehicle on the inside. Oh yeah the check engine light came back on the first day. It's an old truck but that still doesn't mean the mechanic/detail crew needs to be stealing anything out of anyone's vehicle!!!!! Call the service advisor about it and I got a "sorry" ..... If you decide to use this place, lock everything up or take it with you because they have many sticky fingers in that place. I'm going to tell my oil and gas company not to be using that establishment. And n we use them a lot.
