This is a lovely Irish pub that is located in downtown Kells. I believe it is owned by the hotel next door but I could be wrong. The pub itself is modern, but it is made to look old with dark wood paneling. The service was excellent and friendly.
I started with a beer and my wife started with a glass of white wine. I had the fish and chips and my wife had the Madras curry. The fish was perfect with a crusty outside and moist flaky inside. It would have been nice to have some tartar sauce rather than smashed peas. Still, it was a nice and tasty dish. My wife said her curry was very good. We were both hungry from a long day and we found this place to be a perfect choice. read more
