He will not gouge you on price and he will not fix anything that doesn't need fixing. I had a Springfield company tell me that I needed close to $800 in work done on my car - I was only going for an alignment. I took it to him and had him look at it and he couldn't find anything wrong with it and referred me to Lakeside Tire & Wheel just in case he missed something. I took it to Lakeside and they couldn't find anything wrong. They told me the Springfield company just wanted my money. I find the majority of the auto shops in Branson are overpriced, don't know what they are doing and are here just to gouge the locals and the tourist. They were flexible on allowing me to buy the parts myself and also very honest about cost, labor, etc. and honored the pricing they quoted. In addition to buying my own parts I was able to have some additional new parts replaced at the same time when everything was put back together helping me save some more money. They even saved any unused new Toyota antifreeze I bought and pre diluted it for me for future use instead of keeping it or throwing it away. In addition the regular repair they also kept an eye out for any other potential problems that might need attention to very soon. The other mechanic could not see any leaks or any reason for me to need a new compressor but he did see that my AC clutch had been unplugged.
