In late December I needed winter tires for my new Genesis SUV. I was able to get the ones I wanted (Cooper) from Kelly Smetrz at a fair price. I also wanted wheels but K-S didn't carry them. Rather than lose or leave tires there I took them home while I enjoyed the holidays while I shopped for suitable wheels on the Internet. By then both choice winter tires and wheels were harder to find but after looking around I found some I liked and had them shipped to my house. I then took the complete set back to K-S in late January. They not only mounted and balanced the shiny new tires and wheels without a scratch but also installed new TPMS-sending units on them at a reasonable price. The service men placed the mounted tires in nice plastic bags and loaded them in my SUV. The service and fair price could not have been better. read more

A huge shout out to Alan for hooking me up with a tire in less than 24 hours. My rear driver side tire was punctured by a vape pen that was on the road....yes, that's correct. A vape pen. This was on a Thursday. He did not have my size Hancook tire in stock. He made some calls and found me a new one to be delivered on Friday. I was leaving for Philly on Saturday. By Friday afternoon, my new tire was remounted. That's fast and just in time for my trip! Alan is a long time friend of my husband who passed years ago and I continue to rely on him to take care of my car's needs. Alan, his brother, and Howie...you will never be disappointed. read more

This place is the WORSE tire place I've ever been to. They may give you a good price on tires, but the service is super poor and careless. 11-10-2023 took my car to get tires rotated as they put new tires on in March of 2023. Well it turns out that they couldn't due the rotation because they told me whom ever did my Car inspection cross threaded my lug nuts and the studs where broken off when they tried to do one tire. Now that was a crock of bull, because my car was inspected in February and the tires where put on in March. SO guess who messed up my car. KELLY SMERTZ did, they sent me to another service station about two miles away only having two studs and lugs on the front tire. Prayed the whole way, than thinking they should have taken responsibility and have it towed on their dime. But NOOOOO remember in the beginning they said it wasn't their fault. HEAD MY WARNING, this is no joke this place is passed its prime and needs to close down due to safety reason and workers there are not knowledgeable about what work there doing. I was at Kelly Smertz yesterday at around 1130 am when i waited for an hour to get my tires.Over all not bad ,my tires were put on and i started my car and noticed the tpms light on .I called one of the guys over to ask whats wrong he told me eh itll go out just drive it. I told him my psi was low stating it was 30lbs. he declined to hear me.So i took his advice only to wake up this morning with a flat tire i was pretty pissed off .I was hushed and repetedly told my tires are fine .The kid with the hat on backwards was clear;ly high as he studdered his words and fluttered his eyes multiple times as if he was aggrivated with me.The customer was clearly right and this kid with a backwards hat and an attidude clearly didnt understand my concern read more

Good deal but tires only lasted one year . Guy who puts tires on is mentally "off"! Not the friendliest people but if you want to sell a car fast with cheap tires this is the way to go. GREAT selection of tires from all major domestic and foreign brands without the high prices! Alan and Gary are the owners and they are fantastic to work with. They will find you the highest quality tire at your price point. The only thing, if you don't come in with the car you want to put the tires on, make sure you know your tire size and tread type. Gary doesn't use a computer to record what you previously purchased and he doesn't remember which tires you bought. Not a 21st century way of doing business, but their prices are SO GOOD you won't care that they are a bare bones family business. read more

BUYER BEWARE!!! These people are liars and crooks. While changing my tires, they broke off one of my tire pressure sensors and then lied to me by saying it was already broken when I got there. Tried to charge me $50 to replace it. Two other auto places I checked with afterwards both confirmed my suspicion that if the orange indicator on my dashboard wasn't lit up before I went there, then it wasn't already broken before going there. Had to go back the next day to make them fix it for free but they continued to lie to my face by saying the other auto places were wrong and insisted they didn't break it. Personally, I'd rather pay a little more for my tires and get good honest service than save a few bucks but be cheated and lied to. read more

Quick, polite, excellent service. They aren't sales oriented, they're customer oriented. The sitting area isn't much to talk about but for the amount of time you'll be there waiting for your car to be done it doesn't matter. No frills or fuss. Just consistently excellent service. read more
