When asked for her marketing plan, the answer was "We can lower the price." NOT a marketing plan. Wouldn't provide answers when asked about number of prospective buyers looking at the house. Once we agreed to lower the price, the realtor didn't act on it and we lost over a week in a critical time. The broker/manager agreed to let us out of the contract, but then didn't honor that. Plus, their computer system doesn't seem up to industry standards. Their emails don't go through with critical documents. Plus highly unprofessional behavior by agent. If you want to sell your house, I would go elsewhere.

Our condo sold in 8 days and at a price we were pleased with. The process then went forward and we closed in about 3 weeks. Closing took about 30 minutes. We would definitely use Strait Realty again and we would recommend them to anyone buying or selling a home or condo. Tom D. Karen D.

Her expertise was showed when we sold all 3 houses and property over appraised value. Jane's wisdom is unmatched! We appreciate Jane and the Tammy Mitchell Hines Team as we looked for over 4 years for our forever home. I would recommend Jane and the Tammy Mitchell Hines Team every time. When I decided to purchase my first home I opted to go with Theresa Leland at CBG, the agent who…read morehappened to be listing the house I was interested in. She represented myself and the seller. I highly recommend a dual-agent. Especially if you have a time crunch like me. I had to be moved out of my apartment by July 31st, and she basically told me that it could be done, even though we were starting early July! I was cautious but decided to trust that it could be done. We also used US Title which is in the same office as CBG. We toured the house and met our agent and everything went well. It was the last house we toured and I decided "this is the one!" We told her we were serious about making a purchase and showed her our pre approvals. She made the process very easy to understand for me, a first time home buyer, which I really appreciated. I had to go out to her office a few times to sign some papers which wasn't too much of a hassle. The only issues arose when the seller wasn't communicating very well but that really wasn't her fault. She worked great with our lender who happened to be in Florida, not Missouri. She gave me pointers on scheduling the inspection and how to present my requests to the seller in the contract. There was a slight two day delay on closing but judging from stories I'd heard from others about home closings, this was nothing. We moved into our house in only a few days and everything went pretty darned smoothly. She even gave me a little present at the end of the closing which was really sweet of her (literally, it was for the chocolate shop next door that I tended to uh visit way too much when I went to sign paperwork!) ;P Overall, I'd recommend CBG. Yes, they do charge a "fee" of $250 which is really odd considering the agent doesn't even get that--and they call it a "commission" fee too-- but I was willing to overlook that considering the level of service we got. I'd highly recommend Theresa Leland as an agent. She will definitely go above and beyond to help you buy or sell a house!

They marketed this as a brand-new, updated home, but it is actually a cheap flip job with outdated everything. They slapped an awful, disgusting paint job over structural issues, installed terrible flooring and cheap carpet, and left popcorn ceilings galore. Under the surface, the place is falling apart: there are active leaks in the basement, the bathroom fans don't even work, there is terrible foundation work, and the A/C unit FROM 1993! Despite paying a premium for a supposedly 'updated' house, you are forced to shoulder 100% of the expensive maintenance burdens of a homeowner without getting any of the actual benefits or equity of owning the property. You have to pay out of pocket for these costly repairs while the actual homeowner hides completely behind Three Doors and Complete Property Management to avoid any accountability. To make matters worse, their home warranty company is a complete joke. They use endless loopholes, pre-existing condition clauses, and deliberate delays to deny legitimate claims, leaving you entirely stranded when those ancient systems inevitably break down. Whenever a crisis hits, the owner stays invisible, the warranty company offers zero protection, and the management group just points to the fine print. It is a predatory setup where you take all the financial risk for a lemon of a house while they hide in the shadows and cash your checks.

I said please do not waste my time and offer me 'like $385k'. Pat said, 'oh no, we do not do that. So I proceeded. I chatted with their agent next and we set up a time to meet at the house and appraise. I again said please do not waste my time if this is just going to be a lowball offer, again even saying 385k as an example of an offer we would be offended by. After three days of communicating and arranging my schedule to to meet Shawn at the property, his offer was $325k. The zillow estimate on our house was $445k and the Zillow offer to buy it was $401k. This was such a colossal waste of time and could have been avoided with honestly and integrity.
