I really have a hard time believing the poor reviews. I have nothing but good things to say about Christina and her team. From the very beginning she was professional, friendly, and responsive to our communications. She sold our house in 14 days, and for 4% commission (of that 4%, the buyer's agent gets their industry standard 2.7%). You might wonder to yourself, "Sure, great percentage, but I bet they just put a sign in the yard and that's it". Nope! Professional pictures, open house, advertisements, networking, etc. You get it all with them, just like you'd expect from someone working hard to sell your home. It'd probably be enough to stop there, but I want to be very clear that Christina is not your typical real estate agent/broker. We were going to build a house.. we had a lot, plans, and a builder all ready to go. We asked to see a few houses. Christina made time for us. She would literally squeeze us in, meet us when most wouldn't, even met her kids when we really wanted to see a house and they were with her. We felt like numero uno.. all this while she KNEW we were about to commence our build. We were never made to feel like a burden, or made to feel like we were wasting her time (we wasted a lot as we saw nearly 100 homes). Every day she met us with spunk and fire, friendliness and professionalism. Every day I am thankful for having called her that day. Okay so I know in the past I've mainly covered reviews of places to visit or things to eat.....lots of things to eat. This will be my first review of a service that I have had the chance to use. When it was time to sell my house in North County and move West, I could have chosen a national branded realty company. I could have picked one backed by billions of dollars. And I could have gone with one where the realtors only cared about the bottom line. But I decided not. Instead I chose Strait Realty. You see I wanted personal attention from someone that looked out for me. Someone that knew that area that I was buying in and the clientele that was looking into buying my house. I've read some of the reviews that others have posted here about this company and I have to say there's always two sides to every coin. Before you throw this realty company out first take the time to get to know them. You're going to find that they are personable and caring and will go above and beyond to make sure you get the best price for your house. So if you want my recommendation go with Strait Realty. I remembered "why pay more that four" with Strait realty? I decided that would save me $5-6,000 dollars so let's give them a try and see if the come through. I wasn't sure what to expect but Strait realty had the best customer service I could imagine.
