I am an American home shield client JCJ electric was the contractor assigned to handle my claim…read morewith had a ciel fan which inoperable I ceiling fan and replaced I make the claim the contractor comes out with to replace the item if they are unable to repair the item I actually purchase a replacement ceiling fan, so the contractor would not have to of providing a replacement ceiling fan JCj a contractor by the name of who came out and looked at the ceiling fan and said that I needed to have an installed for about $300. I said fine I had already purchased a replacement ceiling fan and I paid him $300 for the additional item that he said was electrician they the brand new ceiling fan out of the box and proceeded to try to install the ceiling fan. I don't know specifically what he did, but I want him remove the ceiling fan brand new out of the box on and meant the ceiling fan as he was installing it and the ceiling fan didn't work. I was watching him the entire process, but he around and says oh the ceiling fan must be defective. It must've been bent The ceiling fan wasn't banned. I watched him take the brand new ceiling fan out of the box and subsequently bent it when he was trying to install it then he says well you have the packing ceiling fan came in. You can return it to the store and get a replacement. The problem is that I now have a broken ceiling fan installed in my ceiling so how am I supposed to remove the broken ceiling fan? I'm not electrician. I subsequently called American home shield and JCJ did not respond. I would anyone to use this company incompetent if not corrupt and the only reason why I even utilize them was because they were the assigned contractor with American home shield

PECO said we almost had a fire (they detected the heat from the device). When the previous electrician didn't respond, we got Joe's number from a friend. Joe called me back after hours in minutes, came out within an hour of our conversation AFTER hours, assessed the situation, gave us a workaround so we could at least have AC in the 95 degree heat and was back out in 36 hours to do the job. AMAZING! Competent, personable and affordable. Service the way its supposed to be, thanks Joe and son!

A few weeks ago, I noticed a burning smell in my basement and followed it to the electrical closet. I spoke to Greg on the phone about the issue and he was very professional and honest of what he could and could not do about the elusive issue. Most importantly, he did not use any scare tactics. Unfortunately, he had a client that day so my husband found another company to come to diagnose the issue. After opening and thoroughly examining the electrical box, the person could not find the problem and recommended an escalation to perform a full diagnosis, which would be nearly $500. I called Greg and he talked to me out of my panic. He also recommended a solution to test for the source myself. Later that day, my husband and I took Greg's advice and we were able to narrow it down to our home security system. Having an electrical issue is always scary, but I am grateful to find someone like Greg who is honest, and actually goes out of his way to educate his customers.
