Installed mini- split for decent price and provided good communication. Sone delay due to equipment supplier but worked it out.

OK, Dear Reader, you can thank me now for NOT posting any pictures! You would have to bleach your…read morebrain if I did. Also, if you have a short attention span, I'll cut to the chase... You can stop reading right after this and hire these guys! Not only were they outstanding, but they were so much more affordable than three other companies were trying to charge me. This is the sign you were looking for. Hire them. I have a house that sat vacant for a while and became the target of squatters. As you can imagine, with no running water, UGH UGH UGH. I called around for waste removal services before my contractor, Punchlist Pros, told me that he only uses Reddi Services. He swears by them. Okay, cool. I'll call them. Jay Denney was the first tech my guy dealt with. We had to reschedule for this week to make sure the water was on so he could do his job completely. I requested him specifically because he was familiar with the house and it was pretty bad and he had already proved more than capable. My contractor was impressed with Jay's fearlessness. LOL. The day of the actual appointment, He was off. Yikes! I was in a bit of a panic, but eventually I spoke to the new tech, Trevor DePriest, who was circling back because when he first showed up the electricity wasn't properly connected. LOL! So many issues! And these guys were so patient! All I can say is Trevor is a BEAST!!! I reached out to my contractor while he was working, and he said that Trevor was Superman and that he was handling his business. When I spoke with Trevor, he actually reached out to me to let me know exactly what he did, which I think is also very cool of him. Even though my contractor said everything was good to go and there were no worries WHATSOEVER, I really appreciated understanding what had to be done and the extent of which Trevor went to make sure that the drains were all unclogged, free and clear, ready to go. I am so thankful and grateful to this team! You guys really have some dedicated badasses working for you. This was a bit of a nightmare and you guys stepped in and made it good. Thank you thank you thank you thank you thank you!

I had a main sump pump replaced about 3 weeks ago and initially thought that everything was good,…read moreand even left them a 5-star review with Google. Well with the next rain my back-up sump pump did not work. I spoke with the service manager at Reddi and he said based on the pictures he had from the replacement everything was fine and he would charge me $200-$300 to come out and figure out was wrong. After just spending $1000 for the main pump, I took it upon myself to try and figure it out. Not having much experience with plumbing, I did a bunch of research and tracked down the proper way to install a main and back-up sump pump and found out that the piping and the check valve were done incorrectly. Instead of having a single check valve for each pump before they join together and discharge to the outside of the house, they left the 9 year old check valve on the main pump (should have been replaced, but I didn't know and wasn't told), but worse they then installed a check valve further up the discharge line, which meant I had two check valves after the two pumps joined at the Y tube (which can cause issues with air trapped in the line) and none before, which is where they are supposed to go. Did I know this was an issue, no, because I'm not the expert and I was relying on them to do the job correctly. So now I have a back-up pump that when activated by itself is actually pushing the water back through the main sump pump and back into the sump and unable to push water out of the house on its own in case the power ever went out. With the check valves correctly installed the water would not be able to be pushed back through the main and would direct it to the outside of the house. Luckily the main is a .5 HP and while it is also pushing water back into the sump through the back-up, it is strong enough to still get water to the outside. I did call Reddi again to let them know what I found but they will not return my calls. I am now having to spend another $400 to have another plumber come out and correct all of the plumbing, which includes removing the incorrectly placed check valve up the discharge line and completely replacing the existing piping with new pipes and installing two new check valves (before the Y). I now know far more about sump pumps then I ever thought I would. It's a shame that this company won't stand behind their work and correct mistakes when they happen.

Zachary was so patient with me showing trick how to get it in and it took a while for me to practice it, but he did not hurry me at all and allowed me to figure it out with his help. He also helped me understand my thermostat better. He was a very pleasant young man to work with besides being patient and knowledgeable. He was respectful and kind. I suggest that you give Zachary a raise because he is a wonderful representative for your company and I am glad he's going to be my permanent technician for check ups, etc., on my furnace and air-conditioning. It was a Friday afternoon, 80 and our A/C was not blowing cold air…read more I started a project on Yelp to get this resolved after I texted my regular guy and didn't hear from him. Air Care got back to me quickly and said they could come by on Monday between 9-11. There was one company that replied over the weekend but they had no reviews, so I didn't engage with them. Come Monday, Air Care was a no show, no call by 11:30. I called them and talked to Josh. He apologized and said their system didn't let them know I had an appointment. I knew I was texting with AI up to that point, so I accepted his apology. He told me they would have someone out between noon and 2. The technician showed up 20 minutes later and had the bad capacitor replaced and the spring service done in 20 minutes. Air Care came through in the end and got out A/C working again. My wife and I appreciated that and would hire them again.

I usually use another company for all my home needs but I decided to see what they would say about…read morea recent home repair. I was able to easily set up an appointment online within a time frame that would work for me. They called prior to the technician coming out. The technician was professional and friendly and I feel like the quote they gave me was reasonable compared to other companies. They do charge a $49 service fee normally but that's relatively lower compared to other companies. The technician waived the service fee which was extremely nice and not expected. I did end up going with the company I normally use but only because they quoted me a lower price for the same thing but I would consider using Mission in the future if needed.

Be very cautious with Mission Plumbing, Heating and Cooling…read more My neighbor recently had Mission out for a service call; the problem was with the control board in the air handling unit. The tech had to leave to get a board, but was back within a half-hour and spent a little over two hours total, including the time to get a new board. The board was under warranty, so there was no cost for the board. He was charged $1,063.48, but given a 10% "over 65" discount, so total charge was $957.13, which works out to somewhere between, $320 and $479 an hour. The technician also said that he was lucky that the board was under warranty, otherwise it would have cost and additional $1,000 for the board (this was also verified by the service manager at Mission). We got the model number of the board, searched for it on the Internet, and found it on the manufacturer's website (Goodman) for less than $100. We contacted Mission to discuss with the general manager twice; he never returned our calls. We then visited Mission in person to visit with him, but he "was in a meeting", so we were directed to Gabe, who confirmed the charges above. When asked about the pricing for the board, we were told that it is not generated locally, but by Southern. Mission was purchased in April 2021 by Southern Home Services of Maitland, Florida, which owns 26 PHVAC companies primarily along the southeast coast of the United States. Southern is, in turn, owned by Gryphon Investors, a private equity company. So not only does Mission need to cover their overhead locally, they most likely need to also provide funding for Southern, who in turn possibly has to return cash to Gryphon. It all flows uphill. Southern also owns C. M. Mose, another local PHVAC contractor in the Kansas City area. Moral of the story: Mission may have been a good company at one time when it was locally owned, but it has changed. Get pricing up front. Question the technician. If you don't like what you're hearing, go somewhere else, and don't hesitate to go with a mom and pop; quite possibly they can do the job just as well for quite a bit less money. They don't have the overhead that the big guys do (especially if owned by private equity).
