Paul stepped in and has been managing the property for about a year and a half. He's been great to work with--responsive, professional, and always willing to answer our questions and help us understand our options. We ended up dealing with a pretty difficult tenant situation, and Paul did a great job staying on top of everything and guiding us through the process. Having Paul manage the property has made things much easier and given us a lot of peace of mind. We really appreciate everything he's done for us and would definitely recommend him to other property owners.

4.5 stars rounded to 5…read more I found Paul through Yelp in August this year while trying to find a property management company to manage our family rental after we were finally fed up with the previous company. The last company assigned us a property manager who was unresponsive, lazy and incompetent. After contacting multiple property management companies around the contra costa area and interviewing a few of them, my family decided to hire Paul to manage our family rental moving forward. He has been managing the rental since mid September. I've interacted with him multiple times throughout the past 3 months and he has been very efficient and responsive. Communication through email does sometimes take a little longer for a reply but communication via text has been pretty instantaneous. Whenever I needed to get a hold of Paul via cell phone and I leave a voice message, he does reply very promptly. Please do keep in mind that CCPM is a small business and Paul does everything on his own so expectations of getting a response in 5 minutes is unrealistic. Compared to the responsiveness of the previous company my family used, Paul's communication has been great so far and I hope he will keep up the good work. CCPM's monthly management fees are very reasonable especially in the Bay Area where the cost of living is relatively high. With that in mind, the contract provided by CCPM is very detailed in listing all the fees that will be expected if additional requests such as annual inspections is requested by the landlord. I've interviewed a good amount of property management companies prior to selecting CCPM so I definitely can say that his fees (relative to the amount of service he provided) are very affordable and landlord friendly. The owner's portal is also user friendly and his monthly disbursement day is one of the best I've seen after talking to multiple property management companies. Overall, Paul is a very genuine and reliable property manager and even though we live in a world where no one is perfect, I can see him always striving to be the best for his clients. If you are looking for a property management company who can deliver very personable service, I highly recommend CCPM. I look forward to working alongside Paul as a team to manage my family's rental property. An update of our experience will be provided after our one year anniversary is up with CCPM.

Services Received: * Single Deep Cleaning * Window Cleaning The cleaning was remarkably thorough, covering not only standard areas but also vents, air grates, doors, baseboards, and more. The window service left the interior glass, sills, and tracks spotless. As someone who keeps a tidy home and typically uses another service on a very regular basis, I was amazed by how much dust and dander Bee Fresh removed--especially from vents and window tracks. The difference was beyond noticeable. What impressed me most was their commitment to quality. The owner personally inspected the work and, noticing a few areas not up to their high standards, had the team return immediately to correct them. The result was outstanding: my home feels lighter, fresher, and cleaner, with a subtle honey-scented finish in every room. Bee Fresh exceeded my expectations, and I highly recommend their services.

Since then this place has been run into the ground by Pete, who hasn't the slightest clue how to run a business or interact with people. This review is of how CCP currently operates. I'm not even sure where to start. So many illegal practices such as-- Increasing the rent by almost 15% without notice. Not repairing basic services such as toilets that overflow raw sewage into the bathtub repeatedly. And not responding for multiple days at a time. Retaliation by evicting without cause when toilet issues are brought up. Not returning deposit within 21 days (claiming damage) but when I offer to come back and fix some basic things (paint, etc.) they claim I didn't even do the things I repaired. Dishwasher broke, and despite repeated correspondence with Justin (front desk) nothing was EVER done about it in the 9 months between bringing it up and moving out. Overall, very difficult to communicate and work with as a tenant. I have been immensely disappointed with their practices.

My fiancé and I were…read moreinterested in renting a home that had a sign out with Rob's info so we contacted him right away. He met with us the next morning to show us the home but we felt completely rushed since the walk through lasted less than 10 mins. We immediately paid cash to be able to fill out applications and turned in all required documents that were required. We really wanted to be able to move in by August 1st so we went home right after our meeting to collect all the documents Rob asked for. I tried getting in contact with Rob twice after not hearing back from him but was ignored. He took our deposit fee and did not run our credit reports. My fiancé and I have PERFECT Rental history, credit, job history, etc. We also provided Rob with two years worth of tax returns, current bank amounts, and bank deposit statements which all exceeded Rob's requirements. Since our reports were not ran, I asked for our money to be returned. Of course, no response from Rob. My agent was able to get in contact with him and was told that Rob chose another applicant to rent the home to. His decision was made even before checking our credit so he did not even consider renting to us and took our money knowing that he would not chose to rent the home to us. He was completely unprofessional by rushing us the day he showed us the house and by not getting back to us to let us know if we had been chosen or not. What's even more unprofessional is that he took our money knowing he would not lease to my fiancé and I. He has not returned our money and has not responded to texts and emails where we nicely ask for our money to be returned. I would NEVER do business with this man or this company. There are no excuses for the way Rob conducts himself as a "realtor".
