Faye Bashar is Amazing!!! My husband and I sold our home in 2019 and helped us buy a condo as well. She was always professional, very knowledgeable, and very helpful! She also helped sell our condo in 2021, during the pandemic no less, and did an absolutely Outstanding job! She even purchased some last minute items for me for our open house and got top dollar for our condo, a whopping $40k more than the previous sale! She recommended 1st Stage Property Transformation who did a Beautiful staging our home. I even hired one of their stagers, Jill, to help decorate my new home and made it absolutely beautiful! Most impressive was finding our dream home, our Forever home! We asked on Sunday night, to let us see 3 properties; she was able to get them set up the very next day on Monday! The third property we saw, we fell in love with and that night told her to bid on it for us. She spoke to the agent Monday night and Tuesday, they agreed to sell to us. I would give them a NO STARS if I could. Absolutely lousy and unethical. Do not list your home with them. They do not have your interest at heart. We are a prequalified buyer with the ability to finance twice the value of the home we are looking at. The agent (with this office) has the listing. He did not submit our offer to the sellers because he wanted one of his clients to get the bid (for those of you unaware, he gets both sides of the commission that way)! He actually told our agent that. We waited a week and a half before he submitted our offer to the home owners - with his offer. Can't imagine why it took so long to submit an offer that was a FULL offer for the asking price, and we would pay all our own closing costs and any repairs, inspections, etc. on the home that was needed. RUN away from this company! Funny they have their realtors rating them with 5 stars to improve their ratings. Speaks VOLUMES about their services. Read all of the negative reviews if you want to get the real story. By the way, the only reason we were able to purchase our home is because we contacted the sellers directly when he repeatedly did not submit it to them. Google is a great tool! They were not happy with him either. He tried to get them accept an offer that was worse than ours over ours (contingent). Luckily we had already had conversations with the current owners and neighbors and everyone liked us - except him. He lost his double commission! My guess is there was more happening on the back end than even the commission. Beware of their agents, apparently it isnt just him, its the whole office by the other reviews I've read. Isn't realty a sales business? If you are thinking of listing your home with these folks, I'd personally move on to someone else. That's certainly what I would do. I'm not sure that Keller Williams gets their basic job. I just dealt with some realtor there named Matt Kolker, who is was the rudest realtor I've dealt with in recent memory and I'm the client trying to buy a home! ---- Here's the scoop and details.... I live in San Francisco, but I have owned investment property in SD for about 20 years. On Nov 18, I saw a place on Zillow that looked interesting, for which I wanted to make a cash offer, because it was a market in which I am interested. Since I don't even have a realtor, I called the listing agent (Matt Kolker) to see if he would show it to me next week over Thanksgiving when I would be in town. Here is an amazing part: since I don't have a realtor, I was even offering him the buyer's agent (technically called a "selling agent") commission. So he stood to make double the normal commission if I buy it. Given his job is to show the place, that I am a buyer with cash, that he stood to double his personal take and that it is his job to get the best deal for his client, you'd think he would bother to make an appointment. That's where you would be WRONG! I asked if the place was in contract, because if it is then I wouldn't want to waste my time or his time. He seemed confused on the point. First he said, "ya", then he said, "well, we have an offer". I said, "I don't understand, do you or do you not have a contract?" He said, "we have an offer". "OK, it seems like you are reluctant to show me the place. If you don't have a contract, I'd like to see it next week." To which he said, "We're in contract" and declined to show me the place and slammed the phone down. So, here I am ready to make a cash offer on this place and it appears to not be in contract and I even offer the benefit of letting him keep both sides of the commission and he won't even drive over to show it to me...I've been in real estate for a long time and that's exceptionally bad in my mind and I could not stay far enough away from this guy if I ever was listing a house. And if you the owner of 7854 Camino Tranquilo....if you don't have a contract today and you don't get everything you had hoped for in the booming San Diego condo market, you might want to ask Matt why he won't show your place to buyers. read more

Beware of using Keller Williams Realty in Carmel Valley, especially Adam Lowe. They lacked professionalism and fairness. As seller's agent they allowed seller not to disclose a special assessment (HOA) information starting in Feb/2017 to be paid in July before our escrow closed in May. We paid more than full price, yet we were stuck with $3200 assessment. When our realtor tried to work this out with Adam, he alleged seller had not read their mail from the HOA for about 4 months before escrow closed. When we complained to Michelle Leavitt in compliance dept. with KW, she never contacted us again after months and refused our phone calls. Use at your own risk. Sally A. read more

I have been a tenant in a duplex for 18 years. I recently had a notice posted on my door with a 30 day notice to vacate. Since them, I have been contacted by agent. The first contact was pleasant , said agent being accompanied by building inspector and pest control. Sine then, I have been literally harrassed by text messages, demanding entrance with no proper notice. Just yesterday I was contacted while at a funeral. I would not recommend this company to anyone. They need to review renter's rights and conduct code of ethics. To sum things up, I have not seen proof of sales to validate their incessant demands of entry, photos and the like. read more

I just received my third unsolicited call from the Louie Ortiz "group" despite the fact that I am on the Do Not Call list (and have been for years), have never done business with this company and even called the office asking to be removed from their list after the second call. I would never do business with them and would discourage anyone and everyone from considering them. The call I got tonight showed an out of state number, so they are either hiring people/boiler rooms from other states or spoofing numbers to get people to answer. Their agent, Tina Do, came to my front door unannounced and rang the bell 4 times, then knocked loudly and when I didn't answer rang the bell several times again. She had been soliciting at our house at least once before and was told we weren't interested and not to bother us again. Highly unprofessional behavior and annoying someone at home when not even in the market!! Would certainly not work with this agent and probably not this office. read more

We just bought our first house in San Diego. Jane Kadysheva McIntyre was our relator. I don't have a lot of experience buying homes, or knowing all the tasks a relator must do...but she was AMAZING. Right from the beginning she was friendly, listened to what we were interested in, gave us honest feedback, and answered ALL of our questions. When we had any questions about the property she got us the answers and then some. For example, there had been an insurance claim on the property and she got us not only the estimates and report---but PICTURES of the damage. Also estimates from places the previous owner didn't use!! She helped us get in touch with contractors, came to the property when we couldn't be there for estimates, etc. She was always available. I looked her up and she is listed as a realtor for Keller Williams. I have received a number of unsolicited phone calls lately asking if I was interested in selling my home as it is a hot market right now in my area. I am on the national do not call registry, so clearly this person is not doing their due diligence to confirm with the registry. When I asked Austin to please removed me from his list he started to argue with me and got rude. I simply hung up. Does he really think badging someone is going to make me want to work with him or whomever he represents? Rena, if he is an employee of yours you might want to do some training with him. read more

This review is solely about Jane McIntyre, Real Estate Agent at Keller Williams Realty. I relocated to San Diego for work and decided to rent a condo at UTC before buying. I was a first time home buyer (read: high maintenance client) who didn't know what I wanted or where I even wanted to live. I frequently travel for work so even though I lived in San Diego for two years, I was still trying to figure out all the different areas and their unique charms. For anyone I hire or who I need to collaborate with, I look for certain attributes that I know will lead to success, mainly: High work ethic, dependability (if they say they're going to do it, they do it. No excuses.), conscientiousness, aptitude and good communication skills. Jane has all of these in spades! Things I really appreciated about her: 1) Patience: She took the time and effort to show me condos in different areas of town along with showing me pros and cons of the different areas. I initially looked to buy a house by December, latest, in January but wouldn't you know it, I fell in love with a short-sale in Little Italy and didn't move in until August 2015. Jane was there through it all, keeping me updated and trying valiantly to get more information from one of the worst, most incalcitrant seller's agent. 2) She listens: It always seemed to me that Jane was more interested in getting me in the house of my dreams than with her commission. We had an offer on the table on a place I wasn't too enthusiastic about but was a practical choice as inventory was low and I was getting impatient. She encouraged me to withdraw the offer (even though it would have netted her a higher commission) because she knew I wasn't in love with the place. She listened to what I wanted and to the unstated emotional cues I gave off about a place. And her skills paid off as I can honestly say, Jane found me a condo with almost everything on my wish list and which felt like home almost immediately after stepping through the front door. 3) Great attitude: Jane tries to see the positive side of things and the humor in the situation. When you're dealing with a short sale and an inept Seller's agent, these traits are very much appreciated. Overall, I would highly recommend Jane McIntyre to anyone who is looking for a place in San Diego. My only regret is that I don't invest in real estate as I would be able to give more business to Jane. Working with her was a great pleasure and I'm hoping that when it comes time to upgrade my place, she'll still be in San Diego to be my agent! read more

My family needed help selling my late mother's home in Clairemont early this year. In a casual conversation with my neighbor (whose father also lived in Clairemont) I asked him who helped him sell his father's place and he recommended Don Pelletier of Keller Williams Realty in Carmel Valley. Don responded immediately to my inquiry and we met at the property the very next day. He quickly and expertly pointed out the positives and negatives about the property and discussed how he would market the house. We signed the contracts and within 7 days we had several solid, competitive offers. (By contrast, a different agency had a home in the same tract just 1/2 block away, built the same year and in much better condition, on the market for over two months and still hadn't sold. It was only $30K more than my mother's place, and like I said, in much, much better condition.) Through Don's extensive network and listings we had more than 22 agents bring buyers for a look. Don thoroughly evaluated all offers and made a recommendation--which we accepted. I can't say enough good things about the communication between Don and myself. I saved all the emails I received from him and his staff from start to finish-- I counted 104 in that three week period. Plus, he personally called me every time there was an important point to discuss and on Fridays to recap the week's events. All the paperwork was handled efficiently and conveniently online, so no hassles about meeting in person to sign documents. What a time saver! For me, Don and his staff were highly professional and tremendously experienced and made the entire process go through without a glitch or delay. We worked with a specific agent (Carylee Stone) when we moved into a rental unit 3 years ago, and it was stressful, but we thought once we get in, we won't have to deal with her anymore. That was true, until we moved out and it was worse than the first time. Carylee was on the verge of harassing and bullying with constant emails and texts. She did not want or try to work with us on any of our requests, and tried to pull out bits and pieces of the law where she saw fit so she could barge her way in whenever she wanted with "24 hours notice". I have rented, bought, and sold properties, and I can honestly say that there is no way I would ever use her "services" unless I wanted people to feel horrible and like they had the worst real estate experience of their lives. It was so horrible that I actually reached out to Keller Williams to talk to the GM. It was important that they knew what was happening in that office from their contracted representatives. The GM seemed to care, but in the end his follow through wasn't there. (I was supposed to hear back from him by the end of the week but I didn't). I did however get a forced "clearing the air" email from Carylee, but it was mostly just an email with her defending herself. I was really hoping the GM would circle back with me, because her actions were a representation of Keller Williams, so the lack of follow up was very disappointing. I had worked with KW in the past (another state) and it was a much better experience. I sincerely hope they use this as a training opportunity - if not, they are going to lose a lot of business. read more

I was a first time homebuyer (e.g., stressed out and anxious) and Jane showed such great patience. Her can-do positive attitude really helped me to believe, that yes, I can do this. Jane saw to everything and anticipated our next task or process. A remarkable trait that Jane displayed were her instincts for this business and customer needs. In our back and forth, amidst counter offers, Jane used her instincts informed by experience to suggest what to offer, or what we should do to make our offer stand out. It worked brilliantly ! Also, it was clear to me from the beginning when she patiently showed me several homes week after week, month after month, that she wanted me to be happy with my decision. I never felt any pressure to offer on something I was not that happy with. When I decided, Jane was dependable and forthright Her honesty, clarity, and desire to get things right made her a special agent to work with. Jane has great insights about the purchase process, and gets things done quickly and is a wonderful advocate. Whatever you do, avoid this agency at all costs!!! I thought the problem was with only a single agent, Tiffany Abbiate, but unfortunately the behavior is prolific to this entire office. By their own website they describe this agent as, and I copy as stated, "extremely aggressive". That can be the understatement of the century!!! Tiffany was the seller's agent on the house we bought. Throughout the transaction she acted unprofessionally, missed commitment after commitment giving us the run around with every excuse from family emergencies to crashed computers to bad phones to running long meetings, you name it she claimed it. Yet although she was overdue (by over 20 days on documents she owed us), she kept harassing us to remove our contingencies, posting defamation of us on the MLS listing because we refused to remove contingency before getting the required documents, calling our lender at 4 am, making demands he issues documents when required repairs have not been made. Tiffany kept contacting my lender after express requests to go through our agent if she has any questions. She kept contacting my lender to negotiate my terms directly with him on repairs we asked for, dates, etc. She was rude, abusive, and downright nasty. She does not take lightly to not controlling and bullying everyone and is really over reaching, crosses the line of ethics, and is the type to claim that she is the savior and that no one is doing their job when she is the cause of all the delays. Tiffany did not act in good faith and actually was unethical in my opinion. She staged the house and claimed on the MLS appliances that she knew would not be functional without major alterations to the house (no outlets exists for the appliances to even plug into). The real kicker in all of this is when I called her general manager Jim Reifeiss to have him reel her in a bit as she was out of control, he was completely supportive of her stating he thinks she was not unprofessional in any manner and that she has the right to harass me, my agent, and my lender at any time day or night (stating some people like to work at night.... seriously??? 4 AM calls???). He even misrepresented his conversations with my agent and lender claiming neither thought she was unprofessional (when they both did and actually talked to him at length and gave him several examples of the inappropriate behavior) but this guy did not care at all. Again, bad company, bad business. If you are a buyer and see the agency representing the seller, run away. If you are a seller and care about your house and reputation in your community, run away!! It has been a hell of a month for us! Tiffany was contracted by the seller to stage the house, she removed her staging on the very last day leaving gaping holes in the walls where she ripped the curtain rods right out without bothering patching anything, left the house a complete disaster with trash everywhere (nails and debris scattered everywhere, she left all her big item staging boxes and misc big wood items she had removed when staging in my garage that I had to get transported to a dumpster along with 2 full overflowing bins of trash that she left in my garage) she didn't have the decency to remove her trash and left it for us to deal with as a house warming present. I couldn't even throw my own garbage for a whole week and had to spend $400+ in cleaning fees to clean all the mess she left including rat droppings that was under the stuff she took and did not bother removing. She left lock boxes and her sign in my front yard for over 2 weeks and would not care to remove them even after being contacted to do so several times!! This agency is down right nasty! literally and figuratively! Tiffany has no decency or manners and zero professionalism and customer service. During the purchase process she refused to allow us to test the washer and dryer, claiming the seller does not want anyone touching their appliances (which were included in the sale mind you). Now 2 weeks after we move in we find out that the washer lines leak into the walls and we now have major repairs $$$ to worry about. The bullying tactics were odd and strong! and her manipulation pretty apparent!! they had just let it dry for a few months while the house was vacant is what my contractor assessed! Again, Tiffany had staged that house for the entire period including the laundry room and the non-functioning appliances. BEWARE!!! RUN!!! that is the best advice I can give you! read more
