Michelle Kauffman was difficult to work with but we made the deal happen.Since we were out of state buyers we never even met her in person! Michelle decided not to show up to give the keys or anything related to the home. Michelle also did not tell us (as buyers) the appraisal value. It came in a lot less than the contract price. Being cash buyers it would affect how we paid. No one wants to pay above appraisal value!! She refused to disclose this info. Along with all the 99 items that were wrong with the home and the seller's disclosure was a fraud. Michelle Kauffman is not transparent, very dishonest and highly unprofessional. However, over a year has passed and it's come to our attention Michelle Kauffman has told and given our information regarding the transaction of our property to another third party. This third party has falsely accused us of harassment, threatened our livelihood , and sent law enforcement to our house for no reason but to threaten us based on their assumptions not facts! Michelle Kauffman gave the third party personal and confidential information regarding the transaction we had with her with the property we bought a year ago. After giving this particular third party our information we started to get harassed and threatened with emails, texts and phone calls.  Michelle Kauffman is a real estate licensee who has a duty to keep client information confidential, including personal and contact information, and details related to real estate transactions. Realtors in TEXAS have a duty to keep client information confidential, including personal and transaction details, and generally cannot disclose such information to third parties unless required by law or with the client's consent. Michelle Kauffman violated rules and laws set by TREC. We did not consent to having any or partial information released to a third party who is basically harassing and slandering us or to anyone! I introduced myself as a potential buyer, interested in purchasing an investment property. I had asked him to provide some more details about working together and he LITERALLY sent back a BITMOJI man tossing away a piece of paper which said NAH. I am aghast at the sheer unprofessionalism that was exhibited here. Regardless of how he interpreted my initial request, no self respecting realtor part of a brokerage who claims to care about "interpersonal relationships that doesn't end after you sign" should ever behave this way towards a potential client. Disgusting. Take your business else where to people who will actually respect you.
