Following over a year of dry itchy patches of skin on both temples I scheduled a consultation at Keller Med Spa. After a thorough review with a skin care professional, we set up a plan for six microderm procedures. Tammy clearly had the skills required and understood what I wanted to correct which was apparent after the first treatment. This was work that required some abrasive action along with some various applications of other products. Some of it featured a little sting here and there but the bottom line was, after the second treatment the itching had stopped. Tammy continued over the final four sessions to refine and texture the rough spots and extract tiny little bumps. She also minimized a small facial scar that I hadn't really been aware of. Since I went in primarily looking to resolve the itching, all the other work Tammy did was for me a bonus. My skin looks and feels much better. I also decided to start using a loofah sponge to maintain everything that was done. Serious work can be done at Keller Med Spa and I would encourage anyone looking for more than a simple facial to schedule a consultation. read more

The reason I give this facility 2 stars is because following my 6 sessions I really didn't see any difference. My hair grows back slightly slower but definitely not even close to the results I was expecting. The staff was always very friendly and welcoming which was great, I just don't think the laser they use or method they use was the best for me. Not only this but often times I would have quite a bit of burning and discomfort following the appointment. I personally would recommend going elsewhere for your laser hair removal considering this facility doesn't have the greatest equipment and honestly charges much more than it's worth considering the results in the end too. read more

I have had great experience with Jennifer and Lori. Even when a treatment didn't produce expected (or hopeful) results, they were able to modify the approach and get results. I've come here for years to get treatment for my rosacea, and I am always pleased with the results.

The reason why I started going here was because of a Groupon I purchased for laser hair removal. This is my second set of treatments on the same area trying to remove the hair. My first experience (at another location) was so horrible so I was naturally excited when I saw another Groupon for a different location for about the same price. I guess this is something I am just going to have to save my money for because I really feel like when you're getting something that discounted, they don't care as much about you. The first time I went, I really enjoyed the woman who was doing the treatment. She was nice and seemed thorough. In the middle of my treatment, the woman who I assume is the owner WALKED IN door wide open while I had my pants off on the table. I am not a modest person really but she made it seem like it was no big deal that Monica was with a client and came in to discuss business with her. The only reason I will continue going there is to finish up my 6 treatments, which I am not really noticing as much of a difference as I should be, and then I won't be returning. read more

The employees are friendly, but I'm disappointed in the treatment. I had agreed to an IPL at the consultation, but when I came back for the procedure, they wanted to use a different laser that wasn't an IPL. When I reminded them, I could tell that they didn't want me using it, for whatever reason. (There was a repair guy fixing a laser in my treatment room, so I'm guessing it may have been the IPL?) Regardless, I went with their new recommendation and am disappointed with the result. In consulting with other places, for the sunspot I had wanted removed, it should have been done through IPL, not the other laser. I had a great experience here with my Ultherapy treatment. The young lady, (Shannon?), that did the treatment was very patient because local anesthetic cream wears off kind of fast on me, and we had to take plenty of breaks during the treatment. I feel like I can see results already and am excited for how it will look in a few more months. I will never go back again. This place is very unorganized! My first visit I was left waiting in the waiting room while they discussed businessin front of me. They were without a receptionist today so the owner used that as an excuse for being so disorganized. I had my consult and I wanted to have some spider veins on my legs lasered as well as on my face and cherry angiomas on various places on my body. Lori, the owner had an assistant with her and they wanted to see my legs. Instead of leaving the room so I could change into a gown, they had me remove my pants while they waited and watched. Awkward and unprofessional! The paperwork they gave me looked like it was a copy of a copy of a copy and then they made a copy of it. Tacky and unprofessional! On my second visit, I was asked to complete the paperwork again because they had lost my file. I wasn't very happy with that, but I complied. When I was halfway through, they announced they had found my file. It was on the receptionists desk the whole time. How could they have missed that? No apology was offered. Lori took me into a treatment roomand had me remove my pants in front of her. Again, no gown or sheet was offered for privacy. Lori treated my leg veins and then worked to laser some veins in my face. I had roughly seven minutes left which is basically 25% of my time when she turned off the machine and started to cleanup. We had talked about removing some cherry angiomas on my chest and arm if there was time. There was plenty of time. When I let Lori know we hadn't used up my 30 minute time allotment she let me know that I would have to pay for any additional work. Both visits Lori tried to get me to buy some expensive creams and sunscreen. It seems like this is just about making a buck. Shorten the visit and then make the customer come back for additional treatment that could have been takine care of in the initial visit. One of the treatment areas on my face blistered after I left. I am hoping it won't leave a scar. Lori, the owner looks like she has had way to much work done on her face. Looks a little scary! I won't be going back! read more

I had my Consultation yesterday, So very unprofessional. The lady doing the consult was chewing gum the whole time and then called me "HUN". The consult was just trying to sell my some facial cleansers to use for three weeks before using the laser to treat my dark spots. While shoving papers at me to sign, I said wait I haven't decided if this is what I want to do. I was told that she couldn't offer me the discount on the laser treatment if I waited too long. Where was I at a used car lot. I noticed the Dr's diploma on the wall. So when I came home I did my research. The owner is a Dr Karen Geskell. The is an Opthalmologist (Eye Dr) not even a Dermatologist or a Plastic Surgeon. Saver your money! read more

Cannot recommend. First experience was through a Groupon and looked forward to finding a clinic where I could return for beauty treatments. Was kept waiting in the lobby for 25 minutes on my first visit while the owner talked with staff, set up file folders, talked about creating gift bags and discussed hiring additional help for Saturdays because she was losing money. Was CERTAIN this was not the person who would be treating me as she was clearly conducting non essential business in the lobby in front of a waiting client. Turned out she was the owner and after 25 minutes and announcing she was going to the restroom, she would then be back to help me. Was told I needed to use a $95 cream for a few months before I received my treatment for "best results". I declined purchasing the cream and reluctantly made a second appointment for several weeks out as they would not do both the consultation and the treatment on the same day. The Groupon stated you would receive a 30 minute consultation followed by a 30 minute laser treatment. I live an hour's drive away. Arrived on time for my second appointment for the treatment. This time was ushered into a room within the first 5 minutes. Then proceeded to wait another 25 minutes. Astoundingly, the owner came into the room for something, glanced at me and said "oh, is so & so (staff member) coming back in?" I replied "I don't know". I had no idea who was giving me my treatment, I had only been put in a room with no further information. After a half hour's wait, the owner came back in a flurry with apologies all around; not knowing she was doing the treatment, thinking another staff member was going to do it. I seriously considered never coming back for the treatment after what I experienced on my first visit. I seriously considered leaving before getting the treatment because the owner herself is so disorganized. Only because my husband was with me in the room did I allow her near my face. Go if you wish, but take a look at the skin on the owner and her partner before you allow their treatments and lasers near your face. 3 1/2 weeks later, I have no results from my treatment at Vancouver Laser Clinic. read more

I've had IPL done in Portland and had amazing results but this place was a total waste of time & money. She put me right at ease and explained the basic treatment. Plus the setting is adorable, a vintage craftsman house decorated beautifully. Then I met with Lori. She was very knowledgeable and put me right at ease. She did the micro-dermabrasion treatment on my face and it felt so gentle. She really has an excellent touch. After explaining to them I have all these products at home they tried pushing other products on me. The laser didn't do anything for my skin and she tried selling me laser packages and makeup. I discovered Vancouver Laser Skin Care Clinic through Groupon. I wanted some broken capillaries on my face treated. I went in for a consultation and after Lori looked closely at my skin she suggested a 3 piece cleansing kit for me to use that would clear up the menopausal acne on my chin, etc. I have tried more products than I can count, and spent more than I care to admit. Finally...a cleansing system that actually works! I didn't go in for that but I am grateful she introduced me to the Obagi products. In further discussions I was impressed with her knowledge in that I have gone to a number of medical spas over the years and have had a variety of treatments such as vein therapy, IPL, botox, brown spot laser treatment, etc. Lori also suggested several weeks out for my treatment so I could clear up my skin first, and she wanted me out of the sun so my skin would not get any darker. I think this enables her to see the capillaries more clearly. I appreciated that approach. Also, this clinic has more updated lasers than those medical spas I have previously been to. That made me happy (I do my research). I am very pleased with the results of my treatments so far and intend to make this my go-to anti-aging treatment center! No more traffic fighting trips to Portland to take care of my skin! Oh...and I got botox from Dr. Gaskell, too. Other doctors I've been to caused one eye to droop for weeks. Very embarrassing, to say the least. Gratefully, Karen Gaskell is also an ophthalmologist so she knew what she was doing. No drooping this time! I am 37 years old, and have recently been very aware of my aging face. As I glance in the rear view mirror at my reflection, the natural light tells no lies. My face looked dry and uneven, and I had deep wrinkles between my eyebrows and around my eyes. Overall, I take good care of my health, but my skin has never been a priority. I went to see Lori for a consultation. She had several options to help get me on the path to having a fresh and youthful glow. I started a morning and night regime using Epionce and Obagi medical grade skin products. I love them. I often hate to put makeup on because my skin feels and looks so good after moisturizing. I also had some Botox injections from Shelley LaFrance. I have never had any injections before, so this felt a bit scary...and I was nervous. Shelley answered all my questions before the treatment and even a few weeks after. I had the injections 2 months ago, and I am still looking great! I can't believe the difference. So why stop there? I had noticed a bit of sagging under my chin, so I thought I would see what they could do about it. One session with Lori and her Titan laser tightened me up. I also had a very bad experience with Vancouver Laser. Though I was told that one treatment would work for most of my age spots, I experienced zero change after the treatment. The information I was given before my treatment varied greatly from the information I was given after the treatment when I told them the treatment had been completely unsuccessful. They are clearly not interested in doing a quality job. My story is too long to go into here, but I would suggest you pay a little more and find a reputable clinic. Vancouver Laser Skin Care Clinic will cost you more in the long run because you will not get the results you are looking for. Like one of the other reviewers, I also felt that Lori was only interested in pushing products. She possesses few, if any, people skills, is not interested in providing quality treatment and doesn't seem to care if her clients are satisfied. This clinic is unethical and poorly run. read more
