If you are a teacher and your kids attend this school, your kids are guaranteed to have the best teacher in every grade. Certain parents in PTA and teachers who have kids attending the school here always get in classes of the best teacher. For example the coaches kids are always having the best teacher in grade because they work here.

UNTIL NOW we bought are bracelets for 24 DOLLARS and preceded to go to the cake walk game because they win a cake every year and it's their favorite game at the carnival. So the first time they played they didn't win so we played again and again and again. We played 23 times and never won. And the girls running the game held up the number that my son Brayden was on whispered to each other and then said another number. This happened about 17 more times maybe more. And I don't want to make assumptions but these girls looked like raging feminists and a firmly believe they where being sexist to my sons. Now me and my partner proudly support the "Me Too" movement, but just because Harvey Weinstein was a sexual predator doesn't mean my 11 and 10 year old sons are. I can't believe this school would let people like this volunteer at the school. I'm in tears over the state of this country. Where people can fake being feminist just to seem progressive. I've resorted to to going to lgbtq+ conventions just to be around people who are actually good sensible people. I'm considered moving my kids from this school. They don't need to go to a school where they are GENDER PROFILED. #privateschool4life #metoo #sexist #murica #life

The teachers are still phenomenal and I loved every one of them and they very clearly loved their students as well, but the rest of the staff is oppressive and does not care at all about the students. It doesn't matter to them if the students learn as long as everything is done their way. They're also just hungry for money with absolutely zero shame. They should get their act together or they're going to lose every one of their students, as they should.

We asked very intentional questions prior to enrolling and were absolutely lied to on nearly every front. It is quite clear the responses to our concerns are dismissed because they have already lined their bank accounts and simply have no reason to invest in the betterment of students. For the positive things you see online (highly questionable and almost always left on the same date(s)), there are a countless other negative realities which are hidden and deleted from public view. The turnover is astounding with families leaving mid-year or even a few weeks in. If you care about your children's actual education, this is not the place for them. When you see the word "rigorous" in their online reviews, it is all but certain Ms. Cook is writing those because no actual parent would ever claim their children are getting a solid foundation here. It is a joke and disgrace to anyone who works hard and selects a model where standards are expected. This place makes the worst public school look like Princeton. There is so much more we could say, but in spite of contacting them directly, their replies are less than Christlike and passive aggressive, at best. We are saddened to also see two people on the board of directors are known figures in the hyper charismatic realm and have serious allegations of abuse and financial coverups which are well documented publicly. Knowing these are on their board speaks volumes as to why TPA and the administration is perfectly fine lying and taking funds. Do your research. If you know people at Countryside or their counterpart church, please ask why it's okay for so many of you to financially and spiritually do business with the likes of those mentioned above. Given your own stances on items, it seems dishonest on your part to say one thing from the pulpit and in documentaries and then dismiss it for a second tier institution. Please do your research and do not invest God's resources in this place.

My son attended this school for kindergarten and 1st grade, and it was the worst experience ever,…read morefrom the administration down. I would receive calls about my son being physical and having difficulties in school. Granted, I hate using race as a factor, but after a year of being removed, I feel strongly about it because staff claimed they couldn't control him. They wanted to send him to a STARS program for special needs kids to get him out of their hair, even though my son didn't fit those requirements. So we had an IEP meeting. After a year of my child being kicked out and receiving bad reports, I just knew something was off because our child doesn't exhibit any of the behaviors mentioned in those reports or in other settings. It was so bad we asked them to move him to another school, and Freedom Elementary had so much negative information in my son's file that the new school became concerned, preparing for him to be labeled as a "bad kid." I can't make this up. The other school was prepared to give him extra help in class to prevent physical aggression. We would call the new school just to check in on him, and his teacher would consistently say he was doing fine. When we visited for lunch, one staff member remarked that they were baffled by the information in his report because he was clearly not the child described. The whole school loved him, and the staff was supportive. We were astonished by this positive feedback. Eventually, we moved out of Keller to a new district, where the new school quickly requested an IEP meeting with me and my wife. The new school's IEP board noticed conflicting information in his file and requested a review. They removed the behavior-related concerns, stating that they had seen his file and found it to be inaccurate. One board member even noted that it seemed someone had a clear agenda against our son. I genuinely appreciate the honesty of the two new schools, but the experience at Freedom School was horrific. It felt like they didn't know how to relate to Black and Brown students, and while they were admitting more students from diverse backgrounds, they were inadvertently harming kids in the process. Last year, a new principal took over, and he was a significant improvement compared to the previous principal, Mantz. However, the old assistant principal was still there, and I believe she was the biggest issue for my son at that school. Thankfully, I've noticed a new assistant principal in place now, so I'm hopeful that things will improve. Parents, please stay involved with your children. If you don't, some of these educators may not have your child's best interests at heart. Keller ISD, I strongly urge you to reconsider your hiring practices and ensure that staff members reflect the diversity of the students entering your doors. Otherwise, you're doing everyone a disservice. This has been my experience, and while it has been negative, I genuinely pray that the new administration can get it together for the kids who deserve a nurturing and understanding environment.
