We purchased a new washing machine on Black Friday after our existing one conveniently "died" on Thanksgiving. The delivery guy, Jeff, was very personable, delivered and installed the new machine and hauled off the old one without charge. Unfortunately, after just three short weeks, the washer wouldn't agitate, so we placed a call for service. Two days later, Curt was out to take a look and found that the transmission wasn't working. After a quick call to the store, he told us that they would replace the washer, and asked what our schedule looked like for the rest of the day. About an hour later, Jeff arrived with the new washer and swapped it out in about 15 minutes. Spectacular service, and one of the reasons why we chose to shop at a local shop instead of one of the big box stores. We've purchased other appliances from Kellenbergers in the past, and when it's time to purchase again, they will definitely have our business! read more

1 star for the lady in the office, 5 star for the man that came and repaired my washer. When I had called to make an appointment, the lady in the office was very rude and made me feel dumb for not being able to find the model number right away. Office lady is extremely rude and far from helpful. I was very friendly and polite over the phone and I thought maybe she was just having a bad day until I talked to her on the phone another day with some questions. One of their technicians cracked my counter top installing a dishwasher from one of the set screws and she didn't seem to have a care in the world and said "it'd be awhile before someone could come out" I'll be taking my business elsewhere from my experience read more

This is my third horrific encounter with this small town company. Ice machine caddy, basically that ice holder broke. The store wanted to send a technician to my house. I replied kindly no need for that just need the storage bucket for the ice. He then proceeded to tell me it was 170$! I looked the same part up at Sears for $79 and Amazon for $82. What a great small-town business!!! Our fridge died so we decided to try Kellenbergers instead of the big-box stores to purchase a replacement. We chose the features we wanted and they delivered within a few days. This fridge was a better freezer than a refrigerator and froze much of our food including a whole watermelon. We changed the temp settings and had two thermometers monitoring different sections. Kellenbergers came out five times trying to find a fix for it with the manufacturer on the phone. Finally the manufacturer sent one of their service techs out and duct-taped a few vents. Needless to say, we were not happy with the fridge or the fix so Kellenbergers sold us a different fridge with the same features and took back the duct-taped six-month old "freezer." I have purchased a washer and dryer in there in the past year or so and I love it. They hunted down one that I wanted. I didn't want the "front load pretty" kind. I wanted a laundry mat style to do work clothes and dog bedding. I am still happy with it a year later. Then I needed New appliances for my new kitchen. I ended up with only two days notice and when I went in to them they found what I needed, didn't try to over sell me and had it there in two days. The guy was nice, knew his job. My oven was not cooking right. They were out there right away and figuring out. I will always go to them first! read more

We went to them because of bad luck with Sears appliances. We spent over 3,000 dollars on kitchen appliances with them. 2 years later, our dishwasher burned up and flooded our kitchen. It was an electrical malfunction that looks like a factory defect. They wouldn't do a thing. They told us to call Frigidaire. We did and they told us that we should have bought an extended warranty. The dishwasher was 2 years old! I called Kellenberger's back hoping they would at least offer to sell us a dishwasher at cost or something but they never even called me back. We will never do business with them or buy Frigidaire again! read more

Please be aware that this business does not have "manufacture's authorized repair personal". This means that should you be so unlucky as I have been with my new purchase of a slide-in range, the warranty on the product is invalid. I purchased my range in June 2015. First repair was done the 3rd week of June. Parts replacement. The problem was still there. Second repair for the same problem was scheduled on Sept. 30. Repair man replaced the same part Oct. 21. Oct. 27th I reported once again a new problem. The oven fan was making clinking sounds and the top of the stove was vibrating while the oven was cooling. This time I wanted either a new stove or my money back. It took 9 different contacts either by phone or in person before the store decided to refund my money. This only happened after I contacted the manufacture to learn of the process of returning the range. It was the manufacture that told of the need for a a"manufacture's authorized repair person" otherwise the warranty was invalid. I did get my money back after another 12 days and another 4 phone calls. read more
