He quoted me 20k more than Ralph Smith at the State Farm Agency and took weeks to respond back to a single message. ‍ How Ryan Taylor at InterWest Insurance is still in business, is beyond me. Being in a frenzy, I NEEDED THE HOUSE COVERED IMMEDIATELY. After finally giving Ralph Smith a call; his wonderful assistant Sara Hathaway put a blanket of protection on my rental property in less than an hour. I'll repeat this because it's important; what the other guys told me would take WEEKS to do, Sara and Ralph did in 1 hour. In fact, I'll just to add the following to the review; I called back InterWest Insurance and grilled Ryan Taylor for trying to FUCK ME OVER on selling me a useless insurance policy that was not only pure garbage but was also over 20k worth of pure garbage. Ryan Taylor at InterWest said to me in response to Ralph Smith doing an amazing job, "Yes, State Farm works much quicker because they can broker AND underwrite their own deals." Thanks Ryan, that information would have been helpful when you were dodging my phone calls for week! ‍ Anyway, I'm thrilled with Ralph Smith and his agency! Their whole family is a dream come true: the office staff genuinely likes each other, they're funny as all hell but they're also hardworking and honest. They're always so patient answering every question I may have even if silly taking their time to describe line by line any questions I might have about policies or looking for great quotes. I refused all the paperwork, didn't sign any documents, and the next month they create a policy for me and try to bill me. I could not have objected more or refused more strongly. I already have a policy with a different company and stated this. They decided to just bill me anyway, it's up to me to call now and fight for a refund and waste more time. This is totally sleazy way to conduct business, and I wouldn't trust these crooks to insure me!

One of his associates, Beatrice, is friendly and EXTREMELY responsive to email every time I have a question or want to get a quote on a different vehicle. Price-wise, they are pretty good. To be honest, I had quotes from other than were about $150 less per year, but having this local office and their support is worth the difference. I'd not had any kind of auto claim in more years than I can remember and then literally 5 days after I switched my cars to WW, a semi threw a rock and broke the expensive windshield on my BMW. Of course they believed me (the truth) and there was absolutely no fuss about getting it fixed immediately (big thumbs-up for SafeLite as well). I also feel compelled to speak to the negative reviews which I am absolutely shocked to see. Remember, when someone gripes on Yelp, there's ALWAYS more to the story... and their sole intent is to punish... fairly or unfairly. When someone as nice as William allegedly tells you he doesn't want your business anymore, you KNOW that that's a troublesome customer! No doubt. Or sour grapes because they didn't appeal to their petty ego and grovel to keep them from leaving? Please. And to blame the agent for things that are set by the parent company is both unfair and vindictive. A little self-reflection for these folks might be in order. For me though, in 40 years, I've had plenty of remote/online insurance policies, and two local agents (one of them for the entire 40 years!) The local agents are much better to work with, and WW is awesome, knows his stuff, and helps you out in any way he can.
