The other one is still tight, but is throbbing and I am now hoping that it does not fail as well. I paid thousands of dollars to Surgical Arts thinking they would put implants in that would last. I then had to pay $2000.00 to have the implant removed and bone grafted. The surgeon told me that due to the proximity of tight area far back in my jaw, the implants were too small and succumbed to the pressure of my jaw and probably should not have been put in in the first place. I am very disappointed and feel that I should have been advised to not put the implants in by the professionals at Surgical Arts. I liked Dr. Portnoy and his staff very much, but the results of the work speak for themselves.

I paid extra to be put out in twilight . Someone prior to him apparently missed that I had a cavity and the tooth could not be saved . This was the 1st time ever I had to have a tooth extracted other than the wisdom teeth and was more than happy with the results . I did not want any issues later in life but he said it barely moves and could possibly take many years 10 or more even that to have an issue . He did not recommend extraction unless I am feeling uncomfortable. I guess I'll check back next year but I do have insurance now and wanted to take a precaution . He is wonderful and said he would do it if that's what I wanted but would wait He works out of Kawa Orthodontics office which has a welcoming and soothing waiting area of the ocean and sea throughout the whole place. I believe this relaxes the patients especially kids who need to have braces etc. I would not go to any other oral surgeon . The only other great one was Dr Russo who did my wisdom but believe he is retired .

I called and the person that work at the billing department only work like tueday to Friday and she is extremely busy. I left a messages asking if they heard back from the insurance and they told me to call back when the person in charge isthere. I finally got a hold of her and was told that my insurance just send back the information and she will get back to me when a check for my difference will be mailed out. 2 weeks past and I got nothing in the mail. So I decided o call back and I was told that they try calling me and did not got a hold of me and left a message on my voicemail. I told her I never received any message. She then told me I need to file out a form that will be sent to my emai and to send it back to receive my money. I print the form and send it back . But on the form it says it can take up to 90 days to receive a check. This is rediculous. They took my 1000 dollars all at once the week before surgery but now I have to wait 90 days for a refund. My insurance company said since I was in network they should not have charged me upfront smh. I will not recommend them to anyone. And if I never follow up they would never had reach back out to me.

I came in and had my panoramic xrays then finally sat with Dr.Bowman to discuss my options. Honestly, I cant say I've met such a cool and honest doctor. He told me I didnt really need to have the surgery done. He could have said yes do it to made his money but he put patient care first! Awesome guy and awesome team. I highly recommend them. Had to sit up and thought I was gonna pass out. The wonderful Dentists assistant, I wish I knew her name to list it, got cold towels and put them on my forehead and neck for about 15 minutes, along with oxygen to my nose, making me feel way better. From what I thought would be horrible, turned out to be quick and easy. She really saved me with the extra care. Thank you so much!

Because the tooth had been missing for many years, the bone in that area had become very thin, and several dentists told me the implant would most likely need to be removed. I felt completely hopeless. Dr. Katz was able to save the implant by rebuilding and strengthening the bone around it and stabilizing the entire area instead of removing it. The pain disappeared, everything healed beautifully, and I was able to avoid getting a bridge that would have damaged my healthy teeth. I truly appreciate that he chose the best solution for me rather than the most profitable one. His assistant was also incredibly attentive, gentle, and professional throughout the entire process. I highly recommend Dr. Katz to anyone looking for an honest and highly skilled specialist.

They did call to remind us about the procedure the day before with strict instructions as well. The actual procedure was easy and no pain for my daughter. We had detailed instructions on what to do post removal of the teeth (between the gauze and the ice packs) . He did call to check on my daughter that evening. We did go for a one week check up and all went well. About 10 days post removal of wisdom teeth, we called to make sure she was allowed to drink for a straw! And they said yes.

My father is a dentist and looked at the X-rays and explained that I needed one for buildup under the gum lines and this was several years ago, he also explained they are only necessary under certain circumstances and originally I fit that, again 2-3 years ago. I was 52 at the time and never needed one while my dad practicing until I was 45, this is NOT normally needed at all. Anyways I explained to them I'd do a regular cleaning and had to argue with them to get that. I go in and the hygienist says I was scheduled for a deep cleaning. I walked out never to return will get my cavities, root canal, and implant all scheduled to be done somewhere else. F*** them
