Side Street Framers are the BEST!…read more We have been going there for MANY years, but recently they blew us away by going the extra distance to ensure our satisfaction. We had a print framed (my Xmas gift to my wife) which was fairly large. When we got it on the wall it was apparent that we didn't allow for a wide enough mat. It just looked "small" on the wall. This Nancy Hammond deserved/demanded better. So back we went. Now there was advice given when we first had it done, but no one tried to talk us into anything. So in my book, WE were the ones to pay for a "do-over." This was going to be a costly thing just in materials alone. They would not let us, even a portion. Trust me, I tried several times. They simply wanted us to be satisfied. Now, my family owned a business, and I've worked in one form or another in customer service as I've been in sales my entire life, and I KNOW the value of and efforts needed to satisfy clients and build a following. The frame was of significantly better quality, and the craftmanship top notch: no overcut mats or damaged corners. I wanted to keep the frame, I liked its thick, modern design. I knew the full replacement would have been expensive. Somehow my picture had fallen off the wall, cracked the glass and damaged the corners. The frame had remained intact, but had split in all 4 corners. Whilst serving other customers he continued to dismantle my frame. He said come back in 3 days and it will be ready. I did as directed and was pleased to find my painting and frame pristine! The frame looked brand new! When I asked "what do I owe?" He replied "what do you want to pay?" Who does that? My final payment was nominal! I was very pleased with the outcome.
