History
Established in 1970.
Around 1950, Bob and Martha Seamans started collecting old engravings and maps for their personal enjoyment. A collection was amassed over time and they started exhibiting at antique shows throughout the country and Antique Prints Inc. was born.
In 1965, Ocean View's oldest home was purchased by Bob and Martha, saving a local landmark and a fine example of 19th Century architecture. 5 years of restoration later, the Antique Prints shop officially opened in 1970. Custom framing started being offered in 1980.
Today, the Seamans' daughter and son-in-law run the business full time. Kerry and Brandon Case continue the tradition of providing an expansive selection of material from the 17th-19th Centuries. Fine prints of early America, city views, maps, botanicals, birds, animals, shells, anatomy, Civil War, American history, decorative, and many other subjects, all dating generally before 1880.
