This was our first time hiring someone to work on our home as typically my husband has done our previous remodels himself and I was dreading the whole process, but after meeting with Mason we felt confident in ReBuilt's abilities to complete our project. We had Nikki as our designer who helped us tie in some of our finishes and fixtures for the look that we were going for and she was very easy to work with while directing us to products she thought we would like. The design team helped us work through some of the city restrictions from what we were initially going for into something that worked for us and came out better than expected. The team who were on the project were very respectful of our property and we could tell how much attention to detail and care they put into their work. They use a platform called Buildertrend thats a management tool to keep everything organized for the schedule, payments, and communication, this helps eliminate some of the worries that may come along with a big project. Mason was able to work with our budget and although we did end up going a bit over mainly due to unforeseen requirements from our city we are very happy with the results and the way that everything turned out.

After finally getting "new construction" windows installed, we decided to go with larger 4 1/2" shutters. We were so nervous because not many people get that size, but we decided to go for it and boy do we love them! Everyone that comes over says our home has a "beachy vibe" with the large shutters. They look so nice with our painless windows! We only had one issue with the 2018 shutters in the bathroom rusting. ISD said to order the waterproof replacement would run us $650 for a small window but that seems a bit too much. ISD brought a new rustless magnet and made it look a lot better. Overall we are very happy with the way the new large shutters turned out, and happy with how the older 3 1/2" held up in the bedroom.

I'm very happy with many of the choices we made, and the finished result is attractive, cohesive, and much more polished than I could have accomplished on my own. Sanaz has a good eye for design and helped bring everything together very nicely. I do have a few nits. At times, I was presented with only one or two choices for a particular piece, and when I asked for alternatives, I would often get just one or two more. I would have enjoyed seeing a somewhat broader range of options from the outset. I also returned one piece of furniture that turned out not to work well for the space. They did take it back, but there was a fairly substantial restocking fee and the remaining credit could only be used toward future purchases through them. I'm still trying to find a good use for that credit, so a little more flexibility there would have been appreciated. The other minor disappointment was a beautiful kitchen table that unfortunately marks very easily. I ultimately added a glass top to protect it, and even now I tend to keep it covered. It still looks great, but I wish practicality and durability had factored a little more heavily into that particular selection. Those points aside, I'm pleased with the overall outcome and enjoyed working with Sanaz. I would recommend 27 Diamonds to someone looking for professional design help and a well-coordinated finished result.
