This purchase and installation just may be my worst experience in my 35+ years as a project…read moremanager. We contracted a black aluminum fence to be installed to surround our in-ground pool and a small portion of the lawn to provide an outdoor area for our two dogs. The proposal was fair and accepted. Everything seemed to be going as proposed until the installation began, and it became instant buyer's remorse. The install was early spring, and the ground was still soft. The fence was completed within a week and they left. When I arrived home from work that afternoon, I immediately went down to the pool to look at the finished job and was utterly dismayed. The aluminum fence and entire pool area was a muddy mess, nine of the panels and the posts could easily be moved three to four inches with my fingertips. I called and voiced my concern, and they sent the same two installers out the next day to repair it. When I came home from work that day five of the nine panels were completed and they had to be called back out again. The panel issue was finally addressed, and my wife and I began a weekend of cleaning all of the mud off of the pool deck, stairs, driveway, and of all things the fence itself. The black fence was half brown with muddy handprints everywhere. While cleaning the fence we found that several of the caps on the top of the posts were damaged and needed to be replaced because it looks as if the installers placed the caps on the post, flipped it over and banged it on the concrete deck to snug the cap, scuffing up the cap and removing the paint in the process.......and then it got worse. Several weeks later as Aquarius was out to open our pool it was discovered that during the fence install, they had run one of the posts through the top of buried pools pump line. The bill for finding the leak, excavation and repair was $3,500. When I asked Mr. Fence It about their covering the damage from the installation they said it was a private line and not a utilities line and that they were not responsible or liable for the cost to repair. My attorney is currently looking into what might be the best avenue for recovering our expenses thus far but suffice it to say that this company has little regard for owning up to a mistake and making it right with the customer. I am posting this as a warning to any future readers to definitely consider looking elsewhere if considering this business in any future projects and if you are possibly considering Mr. Fence It you are more than welcome to call or email me and I will be more than glad to walk you around my property and show you their quality of work. We had done a great deal of research and found that while they may have cost a little more than other "Home Improvement" stores, their quality and customer service is matched by none. Our neighbors went the "other" way to save a few dollars and ended up with doors that leaked and their calls for repair/replacement ignored. Joe at Redhawk Home Inspections is absolutely the best!  He devoted a great deal of time and effort…read moreto the inspection of the Fowler House.  This historic home from 1852 required an extra level of care and attention.  Joe went through every detail on the home inspection report, from top to bottom.  He walked my wife and me through every aspect of the report.  We especially appreciated Joe's attention to detail and his guidance throughout the inspection process.  The Fowler House had several aspects that are not normally found in a residential home, for instance, a slate roof that is over 100 years old, and a commercial kitchen, and multiple heating and cooling systems, etc.  Joe took the time to carefully inspect everything, and he provided the most detailed and comprehensive report that a family could hope for!  Joe is also a perfect gentleman.  He kindly introduced us to a few local businesses that helped with other aspects of the purchase.  Our family strongly recommends Joe!

I contacted Anderson Plumbing during the long holiday weekend and they were able to come out quickly on Tuesday morning. They used a camera to inspect the line and a hydro-jetter to clear the roots in just about an hour. Both of the technicians were very knowledgeable and helped answer my questions about preventative maintenance and more serious solutions going forward. In total it cost $550, but these are not tools you can buy or use on your own, so well worth the cost.

The plumber used shark bite style connectors, but didn't secure it to the structure of the house so it slopped around. The next call was to repair an upstairs shower drain. Two men showed up. I had already cut a small section of the ceiling below to assess what happened. The used a Wingtite Shower Drain Replacement, which installs entirely from the top. The older of the two then said there wasn't enough room to build a p-trap. He said he could do 1" pipe and it would fit between the floors. When he finished the p-trap was completely below the plane of the ceilings drywall. I told him this was unacceptable. He rebuilt it, but we still had to shave a significant amount of drywall from the ceiling patch. I would NOT recommend Anderson Plumbing

I called them to get an estimate on some landscaping and work I needed done in my yard and driveway. It took them 2 weeks to come out and look at my property. Then after not hearing from them for another week, we called to ask for the estimate. They told us to come to the nursery. We drove up to the nursery and were told they didn't have the price yet for the pavers we needed. At that point, I already knew I wasn't going to hire them. I asked them to give me an estimate for the labor and they weren't quite sure. Why waste my time in coming to the nursery if you can't tell me anything? That's not professional. Finally, after a month, we were told it would cost $1,300.00 for the labor and pavers. By then, I had gotten a quote from someone else which charged me $900.00 for same.
