While placing another pointless ad for a delivery driver, weeding through resumes, people not showing up or late... I'm not kidding when I say We Do Deliveries swooped in a saved me. I hesitated because "On Call" Delivery Services are usually so expensive, or worse - as a former employer of mine once experienced when 4,000 of her door hanger ads were found in a dumpster and the service claimed all were placed on doors. I had 75 gift baskets (containing chocolate and it was 110 outside) that needed to go to 75 different places. Day One I gave them 10 to start off and in less than 5 hours, job complete. Unbelievably reliable, fast, professional, I can't say enough. Erica and Michelle took care of me. Even the 2nd time, 3rd and 4th - service is consistent. These women ROCK. They do deliveries - what they DON'T do is disappoint.

As soon as the items arrived at their warehouse in Jacksonville, they sent me an email with my order info and their scheduled delivery date which was within a 4 hour window. In the email, they told me I was welcome to call back and reschedule, which I did since I was going to be out of town on during the original delivery window. I spoke with Charlene in the office and she set up my new delivery window reassuring me that all the packages would be delivered at once. The morning of, they sent me a reminder text of my delivery window with a link to track my items place in the delivery line and a promise that they would notify me before they arrived. I had a delivery window for 8AM-12PM. The delivery drivers called me at 9:30AM to let me know they'd be there in half an hour and at 9:52AM they rolled up ready to get down to business. I had a standard delivery so they needed to only dropped it off at my front door. They carried 4 heavy boxes up three flights of stairs without damaging anything and with practiced ease like the professionals they are! When they saw that I was just one small girl by myself trying to use a dolly to get the packages into my condo, they didn't just leave me there struggling but went above and beyond and helped me place it inside. Love, love, love this company.

Not wanting to miss the donated items and panicking I found a review about PDS and it answered all the questions about the services provided. Mark answered right away and showed up to pick up the appliances for me with punctuality and helped us out with a true sense of urgency. I even offered to pay up front for the services and he refused until he actually picked up the items and was en route to my home. That honestly sold me as this guy being genuine and legit. I almost rented a U-Haul to get the job done but the price PDS quoted me was way cheaper and saved me from the hassle of renting a moving van. He asked how many miles the trip was, the items I needed moved and gave me a quote on the spot. He was very communicative during the entire process keeping me updated on ETA and status and was an absolute pleasure to be serviced by. He showed up at the pick up location, transported them to my home, and helped move them into position for installation. PDS was a saving grace and I will definitely be contacting him the next time I have any oversized items I need moved. Professional, Puncutal, and Priced right. I highly recommend PDS and their services.

If I could give less then 1 star I would!!! My wife and I used Big Red Moving Co. this past weekend…read moreand it was a DISASTER! First and foremost they were 2.5 hours late (I could have looked past this) they started our move at 5:20pm, and were already exhausted from the earlier move that took "8hrs for a 2 bedroom" - this should have been my fist sign. When they first started loading my belongings they started with boxes rather then furniture. I figured they had a plan, though it quickly became apparent it wasn't going to work. Our living room furniture was loaded next, couches on their sides, and marble end tables stacked on top of each other- cracking the corner of one. At this point we were 2 hours in (7:20PM) just with the boxes and living room furniture! When they made it to the Master they wrapped the dressers, but dismissed the head and foot board-resulting in scratches in transport. Our king mattress was loaded in the middle of the truck making it impossible to load more items. At this point I decided to call who I assume is the manager to relay my frustration. I called 4 times, left 2 messages and sent a text with no response. I asked the Mover Gary to call and he too had to call more then 3 times. There is no way these 2 guys could be professional movers?! Come to find out, one of them was only a helper who "does not work for them!" Who tells the customer this??? I decided to have them stop loading items as they were out of room on the HUGE squeaky moving truck and quickly approaching our budget. Leaving the job incomplete. At this point its 9:23 pm (thank you to the pictures I took) when we arrived at our new home to now unload. They argued while they were unloading, they couldn't figure out how to work together to get our coaches inside (having already moved them from the apt) THEN the helper had a curfew of 11:00pm for where he lived. Since Gary was unloading (the employee of Big Red) he asked if I could take his helper home so he wouldn't get kicked out of his place. This being a homeless shelter in down town! Once again being understanding I choose to help the guy out, and took him there. When I returned Gary was done and I needed to speak to the "manager." I was going to be charged $602 after Jason taking off time for the constant breaks his workers took. Again sharing my experience thus far with the manager I was told he could only take off $150.00 per his boss. $150.00 based on all of this???? What standard does this company hold themselves to if this is acceptable! I had to get my own Uhal to go back on Memorial Day weekend to get the rest of my belongings and pay Big Red $452.00 for substandard work! It was agreed that I would be reimbursed for the Uhal, and called by the owner Tuesday when he returned from the holiday with his family. Today's Tuesday and I called both Jason's cell number and left a message, called the office (the mailbox was full) and sent a text. Only to receive the reply at 1:39pm of "Sorry I am on a moving job I will call you in a moment." It's now 9:17PM and still now call. This is absolutely unacceptable!!! Thank you for making the move to our newly purchased home MISERABLE!
