Staff is professional and Dr Nguyen gives her patients a clear understanding of their issues with options of how to best address concerns. 100% recommend for your dermatology care.

Literally everyone in this place has an active and positive attitude. When you walk in, the administrative staff are immediately routing you and with a positive demeanor. They are simply charming. And then you get to your room on time, and the staff who attend to you have an amazing bedside manner. They are overtly compassionate, extremely accommodating and you feel like you are the most important patient ever, even for a routine checkup. Dr. Bryan Carroll is an amazing doctor - very friendly, very compassionate and supportive and also has a light candor and sense of humor that make him a perfect doctor to have to see. I highly recommend this place. My only regret is that they are not a general practitioner. I could get used to this place more often.

I came for two issues, and both were botched…read more I had a concerning spot inside my nose. Dr. Thrash removed it and had it tested (endured lidcane shot with no numbing gel, then removal and cauterizing). I'm not sure the person who called back even reported my own file to me. She told me the results indicated sun damage. I asked her how could I have gotten sun damage inside my nose, and she suggested from skiing (I've been 3 times in my entire life). I also had a spot removed on my leg the same day. It required a stitch or two. The care instructions they sent me home with were some 1000th copy of an original, barely legible, and indicated that it was optional to keep the wound wrapped. Because of where it was, it was difficult to keep a bandage on, so I didn't wrap it after the first week. At the two week follow up, I told the nurse that it felt like it was coming open. She didn't listen, didn't ask any questions, and barely even communicated with me. I later called because it wasn't healing properly, and Dr. Thrash scolded me for not having treated it properly. Unacceptable. The instructions provided at the initial appointment were unclear and the nurse I saw at the 2 week checkup didn't listen to me or raise any concern about me coming in to that appointment with it unwrapped. Now I have a gnarly scar on my leg. Dr. Thrash conveniently offered for me to come back for treatments to reduce the scarring. No thanks. Avoid this clinic at all costs.

It was fine and I got the answers I needed. I came in again a few months ago and made sure I would be able to see Dr. Pham. This time I came in due to having an allergic reaction to a medication that left me with hyperpigmentation on my face. It wasn't healing fast enough so I wanted to see if there was something he could prescribe me. The staff was friendly from the front desk to the medical assistant that brought me back. Dr. Pham walked in full of energy and was very welcoming. He was easy to talk to, almost like a friend, and just made me very comfortable. He prescribed me an ointment which helped the discoloration go away quickly. I would not hesitate to come back in the future.

Overheard the front desk girls complaining because people write too small. When it was her turn to go back, the tech came out and called a name that sounded similar so my wife asked if she meant her name. The tech gave her a irritated look and asked the front desk to clarify the name. The tech was very short and rude, the tech told my wife to go into a room. There were three doors open so my wife tried to confirm which one and the tech gave attitude and clarified. The appointment started and all the tech was doing was gaslighting my wife trying to downplay the issues she was having. Acting as if my wife had no idea what she was talking about. The room was also extremely dirty. The only redeeming factor is the doctor was nice, outside of that it was a terrible experience.

After the first visit, they sent the infection to the lab and someone in the office called and told me I had a staff infection in the cyst and needed a different antibiotic than the original prescription. This was worrisome because I spent 10 days in the hospital with a staff infection in high school. Upon my follow up the doctor told me it was not staff but that the infection was still there despite a round of two different antibiotics. I went in for my third visit to see why the cyst was still swollen and red and the receptionist told me that they needed to have a credit card on file in order to see me (they had asked me this on the second visit as well and I declined). I said they could not have my credit card on file bc then I had to monitor it in case they billed me for anything. In addition, if that information was stolen I would have another headache. She then informed me that I had a balance due from my last visit. I told her I had paid that bill three weeks ago. She responded that maybe they just hadn't been updated yet. Then I said that's the exact reason why I don't want you to have my credit card on file -- you could charge me and just say you hadn't heard from the billing company. They said I could keep a $100 deposit on file which they could not tell me when I would get that back. I declined that as well and I was not allowed to see the doctor. I get it, my father was a doctor and they don't want no-shows or people who don't pay their bills. They are trying to protect themselves. But they were much more worried about pushing me through their processes and getting their money than my care. This whole experience was a great example of how far health care has fallen-- terrible service and just trying to push as many people through the funnel as they can. I can't imagine running a service business with something as important as people's health in this way.
