Tried the Adana kebab wrap and it's fantastic! Has the Smokey flavor from charcoal. Tender and perfectly balanced, not dry at all.

Two workers were there, but unfortunately they said "the cooks aren't at work yet". They showed up about 5 minutes later as I was standing in the parking lot outside the door & they said to give them 10 minutes. I decided to run an errand & came back 30 minutes later. My order was a to-go. Upon my return, it took about 15 minutes for the food to be ready. I ordered the chicken curry lunch platter which comes with salad, rice & hummus. - Chicken curry (4/5)- quite unique curry sauce (kinda thick, can't place the spices) with tender chunks of chicken. - Salad (4.5/5) - Salad had a garlic dressing/sauce which elevated the basic lettuce salad & made it quite flavorful. - Hummus (3/5) - it was just ok for me. I've had some hummus at other Mediterranean places lately that are really fantastic so those have become my baseline. They have a garlic dip which I ordered as a side item, it's the most unique dip. It's whipped to a mashed potato consistency. It's good, different. When you mix the garlic dip into the hummus it upgrades the hummus flavor. - Lentil soup (3.5/5) I was expecting to have spoonfuls of actual whole lentils but this soup has the lentils puréed so it's just a little thicker than a broth soup with no visible lentils. The flavor is good, I can taste the black pepper (but it's not hot). I just prefer less of a puréed soup. Lots of pita bread was provided. The worker taking my order thanked me for coming back. Hopefully it's not a pattern for them not to be ready when the doors open.

I was in line to order to-go but the lady in front of me had the hardest time paying for her order. After several unsuccessful attempts, another lady came by to take my order so that she could put my order to the kitchen first while I waited to pay. I found that to be extremely considerate of the worker to think to do that. Food came out in about 15 minutes. I was so hungry I ended up deciding to eat in my car. A little disappointed that they didn't include any utensils (nor did they ask if needed any), but thankfully I had some extras in my car. I ordered a chicken kebab and they were nice enough to sub my rice for a salad without extra charge. Also ordered the borani bademjan because I'm a fan of all things eggplant. Everything was delicious. The chicken kebab was juicy, moist, and nicely seasoned. However, my favorite item was hands down the borani bademjan. It had large pieces of smoky grilled eggplants and I love the spiced tomato flavors. Yum! Highly recommend for all eggplant fanatics. The borani came with a piece of nan that was good as well. Overall a great find and will be back to try other items.

There were no other customers in sight, the dining area was very clean, and the customer service was good. Sadly, that is where the good experience ended. I ordered a Mexican shrimp bowl with brown rice, lettuce, black beans, and pico de gallo. Unfortunately, the entire bowl was extremely salty, and the brown rice was very hard, which told me it was not fully cooked. I was very disappointed because I ordered it to go and was already on the road, hungry and expecting to eat while driving. Because of that, I was not able to return the food, request a refund, or have them correct the issue. It ended up being a waste of both money and time, especially considering there were plenty of other places nearby that I could have chosen instead. I do not recommend this location. The Cypress location has always been consistently good, so this was especially disappointing. I will not be stopping at the Katy location again because serving food like this to paying customers is unacceptable. To the owner, Otto: please check on your Katy location because your reputation is on the line.

First, let's talk about the service which is extremely efficient you order at the counter and the weight staff brings out your meal shortly thereafter. The salads are wonderful of which I had a Greek why not I'm in a Greek restaurant but it was chalk full of wonderful, lettuce, tomatoes, cheese, onions, and had a great dressing. I stopped in before an open house nearby, and it ended up being such a highlight of my day. The moment you walk in, it feels like a true family-owned Greek diner--unpretentious, warm, and inviting. Chris, the owner, welcomed me with a big smile and took the time to walk me through the specials, which says a lot about the pride and care behind this place. I ordered the gyro combo and it was next-level. The meat was perfectly seasoned and tender, stuffed generously with all the classic gyro essentials, and wrapped in warm, soft pita. Every bite was balanced and satisfying. The fries were fresh, hot, and flavorful--not an afterthought at all. And the baklava? Flaky, sweet, and rich without being overpowering--absolutely delicious. Don't skip the house hot sauce--it adds the perfect kick and takes the gyro to another level. This is exactly the kind of locally owned business that makes a neighborhood special. Incredible food, genuine hospitality, and the kind of place you confidently recommend to clients, friends, and anyone who wants to experience the area like a local. I'll definitely be back.

Monday through Friday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., they offer a lunch special with one kebab and two sides for $17. They also have a happy hour Monday through Thursday from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. with one kebab and two sides for $15, which is a great deal. The kebab options typically include chicken, beef, lamb, or shrimp. To my knowledge, the other Fadi's locations do not offer these specials. On my most recent visit, I stopped by for happy hour. While the kebabs aren't necessarily my favorite item on the menu, it's hard to beat a meal with one kebab and two sides for $15. I chose the pomegranate eggplant, fried cauliflower, and their "Mama Ganoush," a roasted eggplant dip similar to baba ganoush. Everything was fresh and flavorful. Each meal also comes with a warm pita bread that is served fresh from the oven. The ordering process is simple: grab a tray, move down the line, and choose from the foods on display before paying at the register. The staff are always friendly, and there's plenty of seating inside. If you're looking for fresh, authentic Mediterranean food in the Katy area, Fadi's is an easy recommendation.
